Epic Games VP Mark Rein talked about this topic back in 2007 (five years ago!), then speaking about DirectX 10: 'game developers will "have to dumb the games down for the consoles" making it "less and less economically viable to do the super high-end stuff."' It's not really a grand conspiracy: publishers probably prefer people to use consoles due to lower development cost, higher game prices, supposedly less piracy, etc.

I have no Idea about uncharted series, GOW and many console-only games thanks to console peasants!

But we aristocrats have special strategy games instead. Because Strategy games > Tactical games

Why don't you go improve the American education system so that everyone knows how to accomplish this.  Then you will have a point and they won't have an excuse.  I've actually taught in public high school so I can't in good conscience delude myself into thinking that even 9/10 people would know where to begin with building their own PCs.  

Console gaming lets the public (i.e. the majority) experience great games.  I can't be against it.  Gaming should be like movies: accessible to everyone, not an elitist past time.
