How come any species and any class can now use the Claymore Shotgun and the Widow Sniper Rifle? Was it not said in the ME2 codex that these two weapons are to be used by either Krogans or mounted, because anything less would shatter the arm of the user (Shepard being the exception because of his upgrades)?

What is the explanation for a Salarian Infiltrator using a Widow and not flying 100 meters afterwards?

Those weapons have been redesigned to work with species other than krogan/geth. Says so in the description.

imo it would be nice to have a class specific weapon. like
Infiltrator -> Widow
Soldiers -> Claymore
Engineers -> Hornet
Adepts -> Carnifex (?)
Vanguards -> Special Melee

Likewise, they are horrible if you like using your powers ever.
