No, i don't play KotOR 2 because there is no CD/DVD anymore anywhere in my country, so hard to find, if i want to, i have to search for anyone who have buy it and buy or lend from them. KotOR 2 is nowhere to be found. If you are suggesting to buy it on internet, i don't have credit card and i don't know what is Pay Pal, further more sure the price will be expensive due to shipment and tax. So far i just watch from You Tube and Lets Play, so i just got a brief idea about the story and game play. There is one Lets Play KotOR 2 that is complete and include the cut content

I don't agree lightsaber style in KotOR 2 named in such Japanese-like, such as Shien, Ataru, Juyo...i don't know if it is canon or not, but named them in such Japanese-like kill the epic-ness. That is one thing i don't agree in KotOR 2.

A good Jedi could join Genoharadan assassin to find out who they are and maybe find a way to destroy them, that is a light side really, for example in KotOR if you don't want to get involve with them you don't know anything about them and they are free to kill people or hired by someone to kill people. The quest is dark side quest but in the end Revan destroy them, you see. If Revan don't join them Revan don't know about them.

Well they are meant to be exotic. Also player doesn't need to choose them to complete the game for their Revan.

As Jedi/Genoharadan relationship is that both do want to protect the Republic for their own reasons. The only thing I would change about them is that it is possible to join them in full and strengthen their relationship to the Republic. Or Destroy them if you want too.

Genoharadan are very much underhand and dirty. Then again a Government that lasted for 25,000 years needs Assassins to do their dirty work for them. Dark or Light member of Genoharadan wants a stable government. So Expand the Genoharadan storyline. Give several full reasons for a Dark Jedi want to join the GenoHaradan and the same for a Good Normal Jedi.

More roleplaying options. More Playable Characters. More Romance Options.

More Explosions and option to go into the Lehon's Rakata Temple Alone and go berserk. Also able to defeat everyone from One computer terminal. For example, reprogram the Droids to attack their masters or blow up generators and flood rooms or reprogram turrents to fight your enemies and not you.

Make Kotor 1 to favor a skill oriented builds like in Kotor 2.

Yes romance options but no need sex...please, what happen to games nowadays, it have become porn...no sex for Star Wars, period. There is no sex in the movie so no sex in the game.

For attribute allocation i suggest like below

Attribute :

Strength
- Each 1 point add modifier for melee damage by 1
- Each 1 point add attack score for melee weapons by 0.5
- Each 1 point add physical resistance
- Proficiency for wearing certain armor and weapon

Dexterity
- Each 1 point add attack score modifier by 1 for all weapons
- Each 1 point add modifier for ranged damage by 1
- Each 1 point add modifier for melee damage by 0.5
- Each 1 point add defense modifier by 1

Intelligent
- Each 1 point add modifier for effectiveness of some skills
- Each 1 point add attack score for ranged weapon by 0.5
- Each 1 add modifier for ranged damage by 0.5

Will Power
- Each 1 point add 5 to force power pool (force user only)
- Each 1 point add 5 to stamina
- Each 1 point add force effectiveness modifier by 0.5
- Each 1 point add mental resistance

Wisdom
- Each 1 point add force effectiveness modifier by 1
- Each 1 point add awareness modifier by 1
- Each 1 point add modifier for effectiveness of some skills
- Each 1 point add mental resistance

Constitution
- Each 1 point add 5 to health
- Each 1 point add to physical resistance

Charisma
- Add modifier to persuasion check
- Add modifier to influence people
- Each 2 points add modifier for party member following by 1

you will love my specializations then because they do greatly improve all Attributes. Kotor 1 is a D20 system. So it needs to be in the same spirit to attract the older Kotor fans.

Each Jedi class get their own stances and own abilities in additions to Lightsabers forms and Force forms.

Jedi Guardian:

Guardian's Defender 1 stance: Increase Defense by 10

Guardian's Defender 2 stance: Increase Defense by 12

Guardian's Defender 3 stance: Increase Defense by 14

Guardian's Attacker 1 stance: Increase Attack and Damage by 5

Guardian's Attacker 2 stance; Increase Attack and Damage by 7

Guardian's Attacker 3 stance: Increase Attack and Damage by 9

Those two stance and their improvements are meant to work with Martial arts, Lightsaber forms and Force Forms.

For all Jedi classes, Each stance will be either DPS, Defense or Support. So if you love Juyo a great deal, a Jedi Consular player and love Force Forms and supporting your allies, stances will compliment many playstyles.

Jedi Specializations will go into more various stances for even more playstyles. For Example, Nemesis(Jedi Sentinel specialization) has an stance to fighting force users and their brother the Jedi Bastion(another Jedi Sentinel Specialization) has a stance that gives bonuses to all force users in the party.

Jedi BattleMaster(a Jedi Guardian Specialization) has a stance that both strengthen him/herself while strengthen allies greatly. So Dark Jedi BattleMasters will strengthen his allies while making himself a very dangerous enemy. Uthar Wynn is an Dark Jedi BattleMaster on Korriban, training the Students(all of them have the universal specialization, Melee Duelist). He does practice many lightsaber and force forms. Also he has all of the Jedi Guardian's stances at Master Level and all of the Jedi BattleMaster's unique stances. So he will be one of the most dangerous enemies for Kotor 1.

I know that Revan will be the player's character. He will get the Jedi Shadow regardless and Jedi Shadow has several good stances. Including Shadow's Gambit. Well it is a modify from Sentinel's Gambit from Kotor Campaign Guide.

Shadow's Gambit: It damages all Dark Siders regardless if it is from blasters, Unarmed, Melee Weapons, Lightsaber or Force abilities.

Shadow's Strike: Increase DPS from blasters, Unarmed, Melee weapons lightsabers or Force abilities.

From the Shadow: While stealthed, Increase DPS from blasters, Unarmed, Melee Weapons lightsabers or Force Abilities.

Jedi players will enjoy all of the Force Forms and their masteries a great deal due to making Force Abilities that more effective in battle. And Jedi Consular and their specializations will have stances that are helpful and compliments many forms of play. So they can just as dangerous as Jedi Guardians as Physical combat goes while being Strong in the force where as Guardians can use both stances and Force forms to be just as good in the force as the Jedi Consular. So you can be a Qui Gon Jinn a Jedi Guardian that is strong in the force while being a strong Melee Jedi or like Master Yoda that is strong in the force and flips like a monkey on caffiene.

All base classes regardless of their martial arts or build type will have several good stance to modify either Melee, blaster or hybrids.

Both lightsaber forms and martial arts will have their own seperate stances to compliment their style. So you can play as a very defensive Juyo Jedi or Ataru focused Jedi can take on several enemies or increase force resistance.

Taijutsu have Sanshin no kata and it will increase Critical Threat for Unarmed, Melee Weapons, and Lightsabers.

Echani will have their own stances and Techniques

Teras Kesai will have their stances and Techniques.

I don't think KotOR 1 remake need many specialization, only 1 is enough and another one is according to alignment. It is because after Taris, player will go to Dantooine for Jedi training, specialization can be asked from Master Dorak.

But for Dark Side specialization the player can learn from Sith masters in Korriban if have high persuasion and alignment is dark side. Once learn dark side specialization the light side one will vanish.

I am not sure DA:O engine is d20 system, so if want to remake KotOR using DA:O engine, many things must change. Like in my other thread about Force Power Suggestion (http://social.biowar...6/index/9534717), it must be like DA:O. I mean, you don't wait for turn to attack or use power, not like in KotOR 1. In DA:O you can use your talents without waiting your turn.

Martial arts also not significant in KotOR 1 because KotOR 1 have nothing to do with Echani, further more in KotOR 2 only male player can learn Martial Art as i know.

Two per classes is all i am suggesting. As for Martial arts, for more variety options. Kotor and DAO are different in spirit.

Also No one plays the Jedi Sentinel the same way. Nor do they play Jedi Guardian or Jedi Consular. or the Base class.

At least two specialization per class. Howbeit content heavy. Each Jedi class has their own unique stance to compliment Lightsaber forms and Force Forms. Also Each Jedi Specialization has their own stances more variety.

For Example with Jedi Sentinel with Nemesis specialization, One of the stances it does have AOE drain effect to drain both health and force from Enemies and your health and force gets replenished.

There is another for Damaging for Force users regardless of alignment. Another stance has massive criticals.

The best way to describe Nemesis is A Relentless killer. Both the Jedi and the Sith often use Nemesis for their strike teams to counter each others force users and high level targets. Also All Nemesis are highly aggressive in their nature, dangerous elite boss and intensely loyal to their respective orders.

Their counterpart the Bastion, Bastions are opposite of Nemesis in they are great for defensive position and force usage. Many Bastions are experts of First three Jedi Forms if not master thereof.

As for the Martial arts, Two Reasons 1) Gameplay balance(allow Non Force users to have more of an equal footing with the Force users, 2) Lore wise with the Jedi, Sith and many force sects often do practice a good variety of martial arts as much as their respective lightsaber forms.

Echani Martial art is both good Anti Force user Martial art and excellent overall martial art. Teras Kerasi was developed by non force users to fight Jedi and Sith alike. It is true that many Jedi and Sith did practice it. Even Darth Maul was a master of that style. Taijutsu was one of the martial arts that Obi Wan practiced.

One of the reasons I do want Revan to have Taijutsu is due to that Taijutsu is a very flexible martial art. In the real world, it does have a good balance of Unarmed Combat and Melee Weapons. So Taijutsu within Kotor 1 format, it will be quite flexible and well balanced to be of any use to players regardless of their lightsaber form preference.

I do want to have player to have a good foundation while having plenty of flexiblity comes to gameplay. Within game mechanic to compliment Lore to show why Revan is an accompished warrior regardless of class, specialization or lightsaber/force form.

Personally I would love to have Kotor 1 remake to be quite hard if not insanely hard.

As for Npc using Specializations and new abilities will be the normal. For most common Enemy NPC Specialization is Jedi BattleMaster(Elite boss of key planets), Jedi Nemesis(hunting you) and Jedi Bastion(defending key locations on certain and working for the Dark Jedi BattleMaster). Conversely you can learn to become an Jedi BattleMaster if you are a Jedi Guardian or Juhani, if you are a Jedi Sentinel or Bastila, you can learn Nemesis or Bastion.

Like in Dragon Age, All of them will be netural aligned but build up and roleplay differently. Jedi BattleMaster has two primary roles 1) Military leader or 2) Combat Instructor.

Master Zhar will be the Jedi BattleMaster for the Jedi and Uthar Wynn will be the Jedi BattleMaster for the Jedi. There will be at least one Jedi BattleMaster on Manaan. At least two on the Leviathan.

Nizaris, you are right about one thing. We need something something for all alignments. So having gearsets for all classes and their specializations.

For example, Dark Nemesis gearset will help your DS Nemesis to have massive critical, poison, Attribute damage. It is true that one of the stances of Nemesis will help you to do that but now with the Dark Nemesis gearset will help resistance to other Rival Nemesis and constantly giving Critical, poison and Attribute damage regardless of stance, lightsaber form, or force form, your Dark Nemesis is currently in.

Netural Nemesis Gearset is design around shutting down force abilities similar to breach. Yes There Nemesis stance for shutting force abilities down like Dark Rage or Master Valor.

Light Nemesis Gearset for Health/Force Regeneration and increase resistance from Enemy Force users and generic damage resistance. There is another stance for Health/Force Regeneration and increase to Force Resistance and Generic Damage Resistance. So This Lightsided gearset will allow for that while using whatever stance,Lightsaber form or Force Form you wish.

For Jedi base and Specialization will be plentiful and for all alignments. There will be plentiful gearsets for base classes and specializations. Some Elite Bosses will have unique gearsets. For example, Taris governor will have dark jedi Bastion gearset and Uthar Wynn will have Sith BladeMaster(a dark Jedi BattleMaster gearset)

Yuthura does have her own custom Dark Nemesis Gearset.

Keep in mind that Many Dark Jedi that work for the Sith in the Jedi Civil War are former Jedi. So they will keep their class and specialization but focus on the neutral and darker aspects on their class and specialization.

Thanks for your compliments...you touch my heart...lols

Your ideas are good too but still stick with KotOR mechanic, it is a fine concept if it can be merged in DA:O style.

For me, i like it simple, in KotOR each feat progressed with level up the same feat, such as Dueling to Master Dueling, Speed to Knight Speed. I like it just simple Duel, Speed....attribute that give the modifier for the talents like in DA:O, Shield Cover give +10 against missiles, Dexterity attribute add modifier to it, and Shield Mastery add upgrade to all Shield talents, add another +10 bonus for Shield Cover.

Anyway, i just hope that our discussions here is not wasted.....

For Lightsaber resistance shields, Regardless if it is a energy based or Cortsis weaved based, it will need a Cortsis weave guard to it. so a Lightsaber duelist can't disable it. Also with the Energy based shield, The Guard would protect you from the energy. Also Energy based Shield would be similar to a lightsaber in nature in that it does uses energy and crystals. it is not in a focused be but in a Shape.

All shields will protect the entire body similar to the traditional Kotor 1/2 energy shields. As for Kotor 1 remake, I don't want it to become too much of a Medievel High Fantasy in which DAO is that. But it is alright to used the general concepts of DAO to compliment Kotor 1 remake.

For Example, Jedi Battle Master is a blend of Battle Mage(mage) and Guardian (Warrior). Those two specialization are from DAO:A.

Another Jedi Specialization is the Jedi War Blade, It is DA2 Rogue inwhich it is an Acrobatic Rogue. In game, Jedi War Blade's bonuses will compliment Ataru, Force Speed, Force Valor and Force Jump.

Nemesis(jedi sentinel) is a blend of Templar(warrior), Berserker(Warrior) and Assassin(Rogue). Many of its abilities are quite useful for aggressive combat due to it does often disable or weaken their enemies while being aggressive. Many of its primary abilities are Master Two Weapon Fighting+Juyo+Two other useful passives.

For example:

Side Note: All of this Stances/martial arts/whathaveyou For the Nemesis can be used with any weapon or no weapon what so ever.

Burst Damage while having an Stealth Element:

Master Two Weapon Fighting+Juyo+Force Drain+Increase Damage +15 while in Stealth.

Master Two Weapon Fighting+Juyo+Attriubite Damage+Increase Damage +15 While in Stealth.

Master Two Weapon Fighting+Juyo+Poison Damage+Increase Damage +15 While in Stealth.

Master Two Weapon Fighting+Juyo+Stuns+Increase Damage +15  While in Stealth.

Sustained Damage:

I will work on these latter. I have ideas for Bastion, Battle Master, War Blade.

Sustained and Burst Damage can be used with conjurtion with Martial arts, Lightsaber forms, Unique class ability and Force Forms.

Also you can still chose to learn or not learn lightsaber forms or force forms under my window system.

Revan with my vision of Kotor remake, becomes a Taijutsu master early on thru normal leveling up. One of passive stances is Sanshin No Kata.
Taijutsu Lvl 1:
Saves Throws: Universal: +2
Defense:+1
Attack Bonus: +2/+2
Damage Bonus:+2
Health Bonus: +20
Force Bonus:(if a force user)+20
Force Resistance:+2
Damage Resistance: Universal: +2
Damage Bonus: Unarmed: +3
Damage Bonus: Melee Weapons: +3
Damage Bonus: Lightsabers +3

The entire taijutsu passive feat tree contains 10 feat total.

Sanshin No Kata:

Defense: +1
Attack Bonus:+2
Damage Bonus:+2
Crictal threat:+2

Kage(name in progress):
Damage Bonus: +3 while in stealth
Stealth:+3
Awareness:+3

As your Character, Revan can learn at least one new martial art and learn their system. Zaalbar knows One Wookie martial art and his specialization is Wookiee Berserker. And one of his special abilities is Wookiee Rage. So With Zaalbar will become a Fully Funtionical Berserker for your Crew.

T3-M4 can potentially upgraded and learn Ion Wave. Ion Wave like Jedi's force wave is strong and you can set up T3-M4 with several types of damage within the 4 windows including Fire, Ice, Acid, Eletrical, Plasma and Gravity.t So T3-M4 would be a Tech Savy Debuffing Wizard. It is true that T3-M4 would still suck at Melee but Several abilities will make up for that.

For Carth fangirls, I have a few Ideas including His specialization Republic Pilot. Also with him being a Solider/Republic Pilot, He will have a few nice abilities that including Duel wielding many weapon types. So If he was in DAO, Carth would be an effective Duel Wielding Warrior. Regardless if you focus on Duel Wielding Blasters, unarmed combat or Duel Wielding Melee Weapons, Republic Pilot will be your best friend for Carth being a Duel Wielding Master.  Carth will master either Echani or Teras Keri.

Canderous will get Mandalorian Commando Commander and he has Mandalorian Strength, Mandalorian Fury and Mandalorian Commander buff. And he has a Mandalorian Martial art that he favors a great deal. Also With his Specialization and Martial art, he can quickly wield several different types of melee weapons with easy and goes unarmed as well with ease. For Example, There is a Mandalorian Great Sword(slightly larger than Standard sword in original game) he can use it with another melee weapon. So I am using a bit of Sten and Oghren with Canderous. Due to Canderous is stand off ish like Sten and has great strength but like Oghren, Canderous loves a good fight.

i do have a few ideas for Mission, Juhani, Bastila, Jolee and Hk-47.

i think Battle Meditation should be unique only to Bastila for KotOR 1 remake, or else the story will make no sense.

KotOR 1 is about Bastila Battle Meditation all the way, if Revan have it too, then the plot destroyed.

i do see your point. For a team buff, Both Revan and Bastila should get Jedi Battle Commander.

Jedi Battle Commander:
Requirement: PC, Bastila or Jedi Battle Master.

Effect:
Entire Squad.
Defense: +2
Attack:+4
Damage:+4
Attacks Per Round:+2
Critical Threat:+2
Defense Against Single Enemy:+1 (does stack with Defense:+2 for +3)
Defense Against Many Enemies:+2(does stack with Defense:+2 for +4)
Critical Threat against Light sabers: +2(does stack with Critical Threat:+2 for +4)
Increase Health Regeneration: +10 per round.

Jedi Battle Commander ability can stack with another jedi's Jedi Battle Commander up to 3 times.

Ajunta Pall would teach you this ability regardless of alignment if you meet his demands. He will ask you to spar with him and if you win he will teach you Dark Channel. Darth Malak will be geniunely quite hard and Malak's abilities will make him a Dark Aligned Warrior/Mage and a much better fighter than Revan.

Ajunta Pall will have all master level Force Forms and Lightsaber forms and he will be one of the geninuely harder bosses. So if you can beat Ajunta Pall fair and square with the sparring match, then you will be able to defeat Malak.

Possible Nemesis Ability:

Force Ability:

Force Pulse:
Animation: Jedi Jumps in the air, charging his fist, then slams into the ground with electrical shockwave.

Exchange:
whipping of slaves
Sex slaves of all ages
Drugs Deals
Weapon Deals
All of the illegal fun stuff

Canderous, Juhani and A New Sith Character will tell your Character that their brutality is common place.

@DeathScepter

Don't forget Jedi Robes, the original robes from KotOR are uglies, should remake it into Episode 1-3 style of robes...or at least make it look ancient Jedis would wear, not like Karate robes such in KotOR1

Ancient Jedis and Sith do wear armor i think, so armors also should be look ancient as well have tech on it.

Jedi/Sith robes should have only basic spiritual stats while armor should have physical stats

Example

Jedi Master Armor, +2 to Force regen, +2 Wisdom
Jedi Master Armor, +2 Strength, +2 Dexterity

Armor also should restrict some of force powers but not much, logically only Lightning could be restricted
