They should just make the DLC character a CE exclusive again.

A good idea, but for one key thing. The SE owners that ARE happy to get this chance will be left out in the cold. I would hate to see that happen on the account of griping and complaining over a non-issue.

Bioware/Electronic Arts are giving SE owners a chance to purchase potentially cool optional content, that those of us who shelled out more dough for the CE are getting. It's a "nobody gets left out" kinda thing.

Instead, many are acting like Bioware/EA raped their grandmothers and shot their dogs. Too many people want something for nothing in this day and age. But let's not make the more rational people suffer because of that.

Sure why not all they have to do is recall all the N7 editions with the DLC codes already in them, rip them out, repackage it, reship it and most likely delay the the release of the actual game <_<.

If they did that then you would just have the CE folks in an uproar instead, and they would be justified since they were promised the DLC when they pre-ordered.

No.

Narp.
I'm not fond of this move, but the first day free access to the extra content (along with the goodies) was my reason to pre-order the CE. That's what I'm paying for.
It was clear from beginning, come on, I know it's a sneaky move, but you all knew it. Why is it such a big deal now, when these aspects are already fixed?

What?!

That's terrible solution!

Why?  If no one has it, than no one has a legit right to whine about not getting it.

You'll have to play the game without it and when you do finally get it you can finally see for yourself - all at the same time - if this stupid Prothean made a damn bit of difference or not - since this seems to be what the major b!tch is about!

The only thing that p!sses me off is that people are making massive assumptions about things they have no real clue about and then calling it "unethical thievery".

"It should have been in the game" - when the dev and creators decided it didn't work and change it early on.

"It should be free because I suddenly want it now when I didn't before,"  this is just nonsense from the get-go.

"Down with the corporate masters!"  Oy.

It's simple.  We all play the game without him.  Then we gain some perspective and then we all play it with him, and we finally see if all this bullsh!t was worth it.

Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Ah... you, sir/madam, see the very nub of my gist. I am not saying deny anything to anyone.  In the end we'll all get it - just hopefully by then we'll know if it actually makes any real difference.

I'll be pissed if I don't get the DLC with my Collector's Edition.

Your meaningless suggestion is dismissed.

Hardly.  Just deactivate the code on their side of things.  No molestation of boxes required.

Why should they postpone what should've been apart of the game in the first place?

A living Prothean... as DLC... I just... what.

Err no.

If you want the DLC, buy it. If not, don't. Simples.

And besides, DLC is released strategically throughout the year; they don't just throw a dart at a calendar to come up with the dates.

Well said!

No. I paid a whole load of extra money for my CE. Why is it fair for me as well as other CE owners to experience a delay until the end of the year?

What's the validity of this?

Wow, some idiots on here think they're better than others just because they were 'rich' enough to buy the Collector's Edition, thereby calling the owners of the Standard Edition 'peasants'...Congratulations, you egomaniacs, the BSN has just reached a new level of retardedness.

So to appease the people who don't want to pay for the dlc, we should remove the content from those that already paid for it.

Of course this makes sense on the BSN.

*People whine*
*CE owners don't get what's rightfully theirs because of whiners*

Who said that?

Personally I think it's a stupid idea to take away something that we already payed extra for.

Internet has always been retarded.

And $20 extra isn't that much honestly.

Fixed.

If your hobby is videogames, you have enough money to buy the CE.

 Read it again, folks.

CE owners get a code, like everyone else, no?  Just remove the code.

The main outcry seems to be that non-CE buyers are getting shafted and many of those non-CE buyers now demand - DEMAND - the DLC for free, as recompense for Bioware somehow "decieving and ripping them off".  This is the main argument going round.  This is their justification fo this demand.

So, Bioware simply takes the code out, and no one gets the DLC non the day, no one gets the "shaft" and everyone gets the same experience at the same time.  They re-release the code later, and then everyone at the same time can try the DLC and see definitively what difference it will supposedly make.

At no point did I say CE buyers will have to purchase it again - as they will already have done so - just that everyone gets it at the same time - long after the game has been played and fair comparisons can be made.

And then maybe all this agnsty butthurt will have a legitimate source.  Now I know this won't happen, hence it being just a suggestion.

But you fail to realize, that those who bought the Collectors Edition would then be pissed, because of the actual unethical practice of business. I can sue Bioware and EA in a class action if they remove something promised to me in the game that I paid $20 dollars more.

So in the end, you cause more problems this way than before. Since they said this was a feature of the game for the CE that everyone knew about would be locked out. Hell, Bioware is giving you the chance to buy it too, So you really have no reason to complain.

How about I enjoy what I paid for with the collector's edition and you do whatever the **** you want?

Dumbest idea ever or you're living is some fairytale world that I'm not aware of.

Let the whiner's whine. I couldn't possibly care any less than I do now.
