I don't know about you guys, but what I find more annoying than being teleported 3 yards to the phantom to get stabbed is bleeding to death immediately after I die, leaving no time to use medi-gel. It doesn't happen ALL the time, but it's common with me.

Yeah, it does appear to be a lag issue. Same concept as when an enemy stands back up and I heavy melee it but I miss because the game decides he stood up 5 feet over. He actually stood up a second ago and moved but I'm just seeing him get up.
