Trying to install DLC and now the patch, I have been running into the issue of "Mass Effect 2 not found"... I had to install the DLC manually, and I thought I might do the same with the patch. (Which I have to install in order to fix the Shadow Broker car chase black screen issue.) I am just wondering, what do I do after having extracted the content of MassEffect2-1.02.exe?
My guess is it's as simple as just overwriting the original files with the content of the "ýŸ€" folder. That folder includes a "Binaries", "BioGame", "data" and "docs" folder. Should that work?
Fixed: Reinstalled instead. It worked.
