FYI I only have the PS3 and my computer is crap. Therefore, I can only play the PS3 copy by necessity not by choice. Just trying to figure out a couple of things.
Just have a general question or comment. When playing the demo I noticed Captain Kirrague (sp?), however Mordin did mention that he believes he passed away on Virmire.
However, on the Demo he appears to be alive. My questions is do we know what default choices were made for PS3 users and is it possible to get the best ending for PS3.
I am not complaining I am just curious, becuase it would be dissapointing otherwise. Just wondering if people knew. I do believe that Bioware could have done a better job at Genesis or a more detailed Genesis to give PS3 users variables. (Such as I do optional quest Paragon)

I think that they used Genesis for the big options of ME1. Something is better than nothing.
I've played ME1 on PC. Lost it, downloaded game and didn't back up my PC. Have ME2 on PC and PS3. As I prefer my games on console I'm getting ME3 on PS3. I recently replayed ME2 to set up my story for ME3. I will tell you, there is "a lot" missed out on if you don't have ME1 choices to work with.
I noticed a lot of people from ME1 not in ME2 because I couldn't import. It's not the biggest deal, but you can tell if you've played ME1 and imported to ME2 on PC. The game is still great irregardless. It's just a lot more pleasing to have your own gameplay follow through the whole series by your decisions. It's what Mass Effect is all about.
It's too bad they couldn't work out a deal to get ME1 on PS3. It really is a great game and much different than ME2.

It is better than nothing. Genesis seems now very limited. I kind of wish there was a DLC for Mass Effect 2 or 3, that is an enlarged version of genesis. I don't think programming those variables would be that hard and it would be extremely profitable.
