I mean really Is anyone seriously going to deprive themself of some entertainment over something as petty as arguably poor videogame marketing?

I'm just curious as to weather anyone plans on it.

BTW Pre-Order Cancled:p

No. I'll be gladly playing with Prothy on my Collectors Edition on the day of launch.

Personally, No, I intend to buy the game, and any Single player DLC.

I will not be buying any MP DLC or playing the mode until local support is added. Otherwise I'll buy everything I can.

Since I started in the Shepard Trilogy I'll see it through, but I imagine this will be the last Bioware game I purchase, unfortunately.

Dumbest idea ever. I'll probably play ME3 more than I've played the first two and that's a helluva lot.

Boycott? No. I'm going to save my protesting energy for things that actually matter.

Pretty much this. I'm too invested in my Shepard to say no despite how much this practice is downright wrong IMO. I feel quite sad, since I used to love BioWare, but this is probably the end of my relationship with them as a consumer.

No, I will succumb to EA's will and purchase it to have the Prothman from the start. And have the full game with all missions. Just too important to miss out on and EA knew that. Clever EA.

Rargh stupid DLC.

Yes, but I decided a while back to not buy from Bioware and EA anymore so it isn't a knee-jerk reaction. The way a company treats its customers is actually kind of a big deal to me. That doesn't seem to be the popular opinion though.

I wish I could be upset about this whole event, but here's the thing...

I was only able to pay for ME3 in full because I traded in some games. I can't bellyache about spending ten extra dollars when I haven't even spent ten dollars YET!

I had a peek at some of those using fun words like 'boycotting' and complaining about dlc and many of them have a bunch of dlcs and exps and in some cases the same game on multiple platforms XD
I've bookmarked thier profiles so i'm ready to totally call them on it if the registare the game and get achievements for the dlc

It's a popular opinion amongst forum-dwellers who have nothing better to do than to complain (not saying you're one, but that's the fact). When push comes to shove, as evidenced by this thread, most people will make a rational decision of buying content based on its quality and how much they want it, not based on the company/publisher that's making it. While the latter are definitely factors, in most cases, they should not be determining factors in a purchase of an entertainment product (in my opinion).

I won't be buying it. I don't know if that constitutes a boycott.

Seems a lot of you don;t care about these issues, and this will affect me, because if you guys keep spending money on all this **** gaming will get more and more expensive, with more and more nickel and dime tactics by EA;s marketeers.

*sigh*

I feel so helpless.

Same here

Not for me, as long as Bioware make it I'll be buying it until they make something I dislike and theres no sign of that happening from my point of view.

"Boycott" is a rather loaded term, but I won't be buying ME3. It has more to do with Origin than the DLC thing, though.

Yes, BSN is the majority factor to affect this.

I doubt most people will boycott ME3. Like I said yesterday. Best example is Left 4 Dead 2, where like 50.000 people would boycott it, but in the end all of them were playing it on the day of release.
