No. I'll be gladly playing with Prothy on my Collectors Edition on the day of launch.
^This!
I have the release day off from work, miraculously. So i'll be eating a nice breakfast at Ihop before Best Buy opens in the morning, then i'll head accross the street, pick up and pay for my CE copy, drive home like a maniac and play all day.

Renting so EA don't get a penny.
You do realize that isn't going to do anything, right? Sure, means EA won't get a penny, but if you're one of the people who are planning on boycotting, that means abstaining from the product/company period. That means no renting, no going over to a friend's house, no buying it used, no dealing with whatever the company puts out. Period.
I never said I would boycott the game. I always made it clear I was renting perk of being a console owner. I also understand how difficult it would be if it was a choice of play or not play for some people, so I don't hold it against them.
A rental copy is already "sold" so you don't add to the numbers. Of course if everyone rents it could be a problem so I'd better get up early.
I would much rather see a change in regulation that meant all day 1 DLC would have to be declared on the box. This is a problem that goes beyond Bioware/ME3/EA.

True, but by renting it, you're still playing the game. They can still see that you are playing a game (through the Bioware Network I suppose?) so wouldn't that say to them that even if you didn't buy the game, you're still supporting them by playing it?

And if I'm really lucky I'll own the DDE and CE on the 8th or 9th of march.

I doubt most people will boycott ME3. Like I said yesterday. Best example is Left 4 Dead 2, where like 50.000 people would boycott it, but in the end all of them were playing it on the day of release.
That's because Valve flew the 2 guys out to actually play the game rather than start a boycott with such little info. In the end, Valve's PR was enough for people to realize it was a lot of new content and an entirely new game.
EA/Bioware aren't going to do a thing about the "public anger" regarding the day DLC and other issues. They'll just continue on doing what they do. So the L4D2 boycott is not the greatest example.
Either way, this will be the last multi-platform (aka xbox first, other platforms later - "multi-platform" is almost always a lie it seems) I buy. I'm tired of having to pay the same $60+ for a game that just isn't developed with any consideration to, my preferred gaming system, the PC, in mind. Time and time again I get half-assed ports that just aren't worth the $60+ pricetag.

Everyone will still buy it, they will still report million copies sold, it will be considered for GOTY, people will praise how ME3 was awesome. And everyone will forget about the way they treated their customers.
Then they start selling more DLC that seems familiar and you think should be part of the game, but everyone decided that they should just cough up the money so the cycle starts all over again, with even larger chunks of the game getting published as DLC.
Until games are now only DLC and there is no more Core games, and each costs you $20 dollars, and to get the full experience, its gonna cost you $200 dollars. Its their right to make money and its our right to keep coughing up the money to make them rich.
Is it smart, nope
But we will still defend it, and do it regardless.

If people really want to play the game but don't agree with EA/Bioware they might pirate it.

No I'll just shut my connection down according to EA's "stats" I've abandoned all my games within an hour. You can do that with console games. I only need to be online if I want to use the extras from KOA or download DLC which I won't be doing.

For those who want to boycott, boycott the DLC (if that's your issue). If people don't buy the DLC, but buy the game, it demonstrates to the marketing teams and publisher that people do support the ME games, but do not support the practice of day 1 DLC handled in such a manner. It sends a clearer message.

No. I still plan to buy the game, because the team behind it is ( presumably ) mostly the same who created the other two games, which I loved. If I'm disappointed, well, I won't go on wondering whether I would've liked it or not. But it will likely be the last Bioware title I buy. Not interested in DA anymore or how they plan to milk the ME series.
^ This i rather they end the ME franchise with 3 and make a new IP as i don't intend to buy anything related to ME after i get all the ME3 dlc and as for DA i also don't care for it anymore either DA2 ruined it for me and i couldn't care less what happens to that IP anymore it can crash and burn for all i care.
