What pisses me off is that some people feel entitled to get something for free when i had to pay for it.

It's not like that. The problem is in other games (DA:O, ME2) it was FREE and now you have to pay 1/6 of the price to get it. It's like we sold you a car with 4 wheels, but now You have to buy a car and pay extra for the forth wheel. Well you can try to drive it, but it will not be what You expect.

P.S. If I feel entitled to get ME3 for FREE I will pirate it. And I will not do that.

And who's fault is it for paying for it?

It's nobody's 'fault'.

The DLC was part and parcel of the Collector's Edition.

We pay more for the CE to get extra stuff that isn't in the Standard Edition.

If people buy the standard edition; then yes they should have to pay for the DLC.

By offering the "Day 1 DLC" it allows people who bought the Standard Edition (maybe they wanted to, maybe they sold out of Collectors Editions) to play that same DLC as the CE people.

Exactly! Collectors Edition had to pay for it, why should us regular buyers get it for free? Ah, the entitlement of the spoiled ass BSN.

The next time somebody uses the horrible ''it's like buying a car'' analogy I am going to scream.

It's not like buying a car.

Amazing. It's gotten to the point where game companies don't have to defend themselves for anything they do these days, because gamers do it for them.

No, that is not a correct anology. Buying regular is getting the car with all 4 wheels. Buying Collector's Edition is getting the car, 4 wheels, and a ****in stereo system. Bioware/EA is now selling the stereo system seperate for people who already bought the regular car. THINK!

I certainly don't plan too, I frankly don't quite understand the uproar over this DLC thing. Yeah it would be nice if they did another 'Zaeed - included in all new copys' thing. But ever since the CE they said this 'new character' was for CE only.

I'm overly inclined to believe hes a prothean not because of some persons (general lack of knowledge about the game its self) 'thinks' its the most important thing tot he ME3 story - but because everyone wanted 'Prothy the Prothean' since before ME2 ever even hit store shelves. It's something people have been wanting for like, you know, freakin' ever.

There's no way they planned him out from the beginning, for the CE only, and made him super duper important and key to the story. He literally is Zaeed and Kasumi. Doesn't matter, but hopefully will be interesting at least.

Yes, yes he is. Because it isn't extra. It was taken from the original game and given a 10$ price tag

They could strip all but 4 companions from ME2 and have no effect on the story.

OH YA, Prothean squad mate. No canon relivence at all. I don't even know what a Prothean is! Must be a new race.

Also, he has no more story significance than any squad member that could be killed in ME2

What is there to refute?

"People who want extra have to pay more."

Aside from the point I made that this content ISN'T extra, there is no more I can say. And even if there was, you would accept it because you're hell bent on throwing your money at BiowEAre

Bioware have specifically said that the content was not stripped from the game, but developed afterwards.

Until you can provide PROOF that they're lying; I'll side with them.

All he does is offer insight to the lore of the Protheans. He isn't vital to the main plot in anyway. Want to try again?

I'm not boycotting anything, I just lost my interest in ME3 and probably Bioware games in general. It's not a big loss at all there are plenty of great games and other types of entertainment. The biggest loss is really in my personal perception of what ME3 could have been, because I was looking forward to it a year ago.

The DLC frenzy has always been the thing I disliked the most in Bioware games, giving me a bad impression of the games from the outset. And now it seems like it is going completely over the top.
