Heres some photos that Gamestop posted about From Ashes:

It goes without saying that some may consider these pictures spoilers, including pictures of the DLC "Secret" Squadmate.

Interesting notes:

They are showing the secret character full out.
The collectors are present.
Kaidan and James wearing the same type of outfit.
In the first picture, we have Kaidan and James with Shepard talking to Liara...
C-Sec in the last picture. Maybe just showing off the new gun.

Just to clear up a few things about the armors...

-the standard game has multiple armors/outfits for the squad members (not gonna say how many!)
- the CE comes with 4 extra ones (ashley, kaiden, james, liara)
- from ashes comes with an extra additional set for every squad member (yes, over and above A/K, J, L)

Every one of the ones mentioned above, or for the one other squadmate as well (Tali was confirmed, I think?)!

I clarified it in my post, but yeah - the from ashes one includes all the other squad members as well

Garrus/Tali/Spoiler: At least two in game + 1 DLC = AT LEAST 3.
Ash/Kaidan/Liara/James: At least two in game + 2 DLC = AT LEAST 4.
Prothy: IS the DLC so AT LEAST 2.

Already better than ME2.

How do you acquire these armors? Are they instantly available or a reward for the completion of a quest? 

Instant. as soon as you have the squad member, you can use the gear.

So if we order the CE, will we get the AA outfits from the "From Ashes" DLC in addition to the CE AA outfits?
Or do we only get the CE AA outfits?

You get all of them...because the CE contains a code to download the 'From Ashes' Pack.

It is. From my understanding your get squadmate armor from getting the CE and purchasing the DLC. So thats two different sets. haha

Look on the last page. There are mutliple appearances in-game for every squadmate.

You can take off all the helmets now, too!
