Actually, you don't even need to say that. EDI explicitly states that there are other Collector cruisers similar to the one you board in the midgame of ME2. There are, furthermore, concerns that the Collectors would return to salvage the DCV, something that requires other vessels. And you only destroy one Collector cruiser at the base (although, theoretically, there could be more inside). So there's a helluva lot that points to there being other Collectors around, never mind the fact that it's never explicitly said that there aren't.

Plus, Mac Walters tweeted several weeks ago to the exact same effect.

Of course, none of this rules out a flashback sequence.

Well, they're all implented with reaper tech, aren't they? Wouldn't be that much different from how Sovereign possessed Saren, and there's also the possibilty that there's a second general around. I mean, if Harby only can assume control of the drones through him, it would be kinda stupid to not have an auxiliary for the worst case.


Of course it would be stupid to have a general as a medium just to control the Collectors themselves. He used the general mainly to interact with the galaxy itself while he was in dark space. I guess he preferred always controlling them than preferring to give them some freedom of choice to do his whims.


Also, didn't Saren's death neutralized Sovereigns shilds? Because if it did, it would be very dangerous for Harby to control the collectors directly now, since he is most likely on earth during ME3 and could get attacked at anytime.



I thought the same way but not sure. It could've been a combination of the fleet and Sovereign trying to focus on Saren. The idea that defeating Saren defeated Sovereign could be multiple factors so its still speculation.

I agree with the Cerberus armor looking to big on Kaidan, but I am not too sure on just giving him the Engineer armor. It is a wee bit too light IMO.

For a Sentinel, I would say it's better if it's too light than too uber-tanky, like the Trooper armor is. And Engineer's armor is heavier than Kaidan's ME1 armor anyway

About the collector base being destroyed and still having collectors in me3... Think about it like an RTS game. I go and pwn the base with an all out attack but there is cleaning up to do.

Also ME2 starts still cleaning up geth resistance pockets around citadel space.

Not all of them were on the Collector Base.

For all we know there could have been Collectors on the Reapers in dark space.

It's interesting who stole designs from whom - Cerberus from Alliance or other way around. And, of course, Kaidan "Oh noes, you work for Cerberus!" Alenko in Cerberus armor is giggle worthy.

Agreed. It'd make more sense if Kaidan were a vanguard. We don't need another Big McLargehuge.

Thankfully, much like Thane's Hater Shades, you have the option to not equip it.

Which is totes fine with me, since his default armor is uber-sexy.

Actually if what is speculated to be list of Kaidan's powers is true, then in theory he might wear heavy armor. Or at least for one of builds.

If, of course, damned thing doesn't increase encumbrance, but that's weapon-only stat, right?
