I actually got the email a few minutes after I had the Download option in Origin.

But they seem to be linked.

Yeah, they said everyone should be able to start preloading within an hour.

EDIT: If you got the email, try restart origin.

Maybe it's just Origin's bug. I suppose, it's for U.S. and Canada, not for Russia. Look here for release schedule.

I just got the email however I did have to re-start the client before the "ready for download" option was on. Downloading now!

To those not being able to preload yet, try going to the options menu, select Log Out, then restart Origin. That should work.

We have preload! :happy: And the game info screen showe From Ashes and the N7 CE materials ready for download and the art book and soundtrack available on the 5th.

When Mass Effect 2 was out, there was a torrent full two weeks BEFORE preload started on Steam. I know because bought it on Steam and was watching the trackers out of curiosity.

I just checked (simple Google search) and the torrent is already out for the game.

Finally, a preloaded game is stored on your hard drive in encrypted form and the decryption key is provided on the launch date which means that real danger is from physical copies, not from preload.

Well the extra dlc - all the weapons and stuff might be in game files because there are folders in the files which could indicate this.

The Online Pass is definitely included in the files.

I'd say the CE exclusive content (alt appearance, mech dog) will be included in the main game files. They might send codes for the rest later on.

I'd suggest hitting up a live chat and giving them your order # if it's still in Submitted status like mine was.

So? Of course it would be, it's so easy to get ahold of the disc before release, but it WON'T be cracked before release because pre-loading always leaves a few critical files out of the preload and the game disc which will be downloaded once the game is decrypted.

Release dates are wrong in the email - just did the release check (my pre-load has finished) and the release dates are what they previously stated.

I.E 6th March US and 9th UK.
