What is this VPN stuff I see people talking about?

Using a VPN in another country makes Origin think you are in that country, and will unlock the game appropriately.

There is no cracking involved. Cracking is illegal and shouldn't be done or encouraged.

Compression. Skyrim is massively compressed and look how big that game is! Size of install no longer determines how "big" game is due to advancements in compression technologies.

Many people used a VPN to unlock Battlefield 3 early, I've heard of no banning or anything like that.

So it should be fine, although EA would prefer if you didn't.

Yeah, looked at Skyrim and it's 6.83 GB.

It's just weird for me that installators and installed data have the same size.

finland here have to wait till march 7th what i dont understand is why they cant realease it simultaneously in eu instead some countrys have to wait longer that others

Had error 7049:403 when trying to download From Ashes. Cancelling it and starting it again fixed it, though. I probably clicked on downloading it when the main game wasn't installed yet or something. Didn't have to restart Origin/pc/modem. I did "start up" ME3 once and accepted the bunch of windows about release dates.
