Anyone else getting an 'unspecified download error' when trying to download the collectors edition materials? The game and DLC downloaded and installed fine. I'm in Australia.

Collector editions materials show as unavailable on my screen. Release is noted for march 5th.

I had that error when i first time tried downloading FS dident fix it, so i canceled the download for FS and then downloaded again. Then it started downloading/fixed itself.

Try canceling your CE materials DLC download and then download it again.

Well preload is done and it says unlocks on the 8th 00:00 for me here in Denmark.

Base game and From the Ashes just finished for me. Only took about 3 hours, much faster than I was expecting. Getting an error trying to DL the CE content however.

Where exactly do you cancel the CE download so I can try again?  Sorry I'm an Origin noob and a little buzzed to boot :innocent:

Anyone have any idea why I'm completely unable to do the preload as of 6:11pm PST? The game just shows as Unavailable to me still, and I'm in the US, so it's not a country issue. It just flat out won't let me queue the preload, as even if I right click it, Preload is greyed out. >=|

I had this issue initially.  I had to wait about 30 mins or so after completing my order w/ a confirmed PayPal account until I got the confirmation emails from Origin then I was able to start the preload.

Hey Ogre, I assume you did the Origin update? There was one yesterday I think. May be that's the issue. I am here in Australia and I could load it so it should definitely work for you.

Yeah Origin was up to date, I literally had just got home and started Origin up to start the preload. Think I found the problem, though I can't explain it. I looked at the Game Info tab, and it says I bought the game on Saturday, March 3. When I actually did the preorder days ago.

Had this problem yesterday but after the full game finished downloading, everything worked.

To anyone who also had problems pre-loading try reseting origin. My copy wasn't available to pre-load but exiting and restarting origin fixed that.

Yeah same here. I guess we can't download until release date. Has anyone been able to download the DLC and collector's edition stuff?
