Well, may be is some kind of publicity stunt...but I agree with you guys. it is a little unconvenient for the fans who support the game from the beginning, like us. But..may be they have a technical limitation with multiplayers servers for a worldwide releade ? dunno...

The weekend is an ideal time to start though. They wouldn't do it on Monday right before the game is released, and I don't think they would've done it earlier than this weekend.
