I always thought they were Asari, but why would an Asari work with a Human-Only organization? So does anyone know what species they are? Or are they just weird looking/moving humans?

They're human. The weird noises probably indicate cybernetic enhancement or huskification of some kind.

I don't think this things are human, at least I like the idea that they aren't. Their laser reminds me of geth weaponry and TIM had an itch to get his hands on reaper tech. I'd put my money on cyborgs, only their barrier points to organics... Can't wait to find out

And I'd REALLY like to know, what class is Phantom. I mean, although she does not use any biotic abilities, she still has a biotic barrier and is able to cloak. Thank God the devs didn't decide it'd be a good idea to give her Stasis on higher difficulties...

Anyway, I bet they're Jacks with aikido and kendo training. They certainly behave like it.
