As a human noble, I let Anora toss me under the bus and made all the Arls mad. I am the rightful Teryna of Highever after all! Instead of fighting just Loghain in a duel its a crazy battle with Arl Eamon and a couple of the Arls that will support you no matter what versus Loghain's guard. Fun if you have some AoE. When you win everything proceeds as normal. You kill Loghain, persuade that you will rule alongside Alistair and its all good.

On one mage playthough I let Anora take the throne and then I sacrificed myself and Loghain was somehow at my funeral and Alistair wasn't . Bugs.

Forum ****s if you don't like what is presented to you or the way it is presented to you go away, as at this time all you have done is show just what an ass you are.

Oh who cares about overuse of the ellipsis? I was able to parse the OP just fine and I'm a finicky English major. Nobody is submitting these for publication; let's move on and discuss content, if you please.

So it seems how you handle the votes in the Landsmeet is not as important as how you handle Alistair before and during. Personally I wanted the option to bark Eamon's shins and tell him to SHUT UP about Alistair. Like, I went out of my way to save both your kid and your stupid wife, you owe me. Alistair has such an overdeveloped sense of duty that he was going along with the king stuff the whole time up until after Loghain died and I flat out nominated Anora.

I have to laugh over how fast I backpedaled about Grey Wardens' duty, though.

Eamon: Alistair should be king!!
Me: No, we have a duty to end the Blight, not  to elect a ruler you like!

Morrigan: Let me keep the old god otherwise Alistair will die.
Me: Duty is such a nebulous concept anyway...

There are so many times I have had to laugh especially after some of Zev's remarks and especially Oghren's crude humor.  And I hate to admit it but there were times I got warm and fuzzy when Alistair would say something. It's like playing an interactive novel.

There were some companions I didn't talk much to until the very end. Wynne being one of them....she had loads of support and good advise for the hard decisions in the very end....got me feeling all duty bound.

I will have to try to play unhardened Alistair in next round.  That seems to be the trigger.  Some of your options we're even presented to me.  Which is why it is so cool to hear about other outcomes.  Have to say though that its going to be hard to resist hardening Alistair....He was so much more passionate, willing to do what it takes for love. Oh and did I mention it was easier to bend him to my will when he's hardened?

Zev makes the cutest best friend. He stays with you till the very end and always has your back.

Guess it can't be helped with such high estrogen (maybe even tetosterine) levels floating around these forums.  Good God....sometimes it sound like we're talking about reall people.  My husband says he's jealouse of my AI romance.  What can we say....it's empowering to strap on a sword and beat the crap out of bad guys and then go and flirt with some cuties.  What mindless entertainment. It's either this or Dancing with the Stars?
