Multiple class unlocks

I know they were talking about unlocks being better in the actual game, but does anyone know if there will be a way for the system to keep track of what you've already unlocked? It's annoying to get excited to see the yellow outline, and then realize you've only unlocked yet another human female vanguard

You can't unlock something you have already unlocked. It's been confirmed.

Only for weapons and mods. This does not count towards races and stuff, you still get them after reaching max level, at least I do.

You get them until you get all the customizations which means like 5 extra unlocks for alien races
Edit: actually it doesnt even stop at that
Although i bought 2 recruit packs for test purposes i just received unlocks for two of my lvl 20 fully unlocked classes - apparently for no gain whatsoever
