I recently reinstalled Mass Effect 2 because I was thinking I'd like to get some of the DLC and play it. However, it won't let me log in to authenticate the DLC I already have, so none of my saved games work. It says that the email address and password combination I've provided are invalid, however, the same email address and password allowed me to log in for my reinstall of Dragon Age 2. 

I tried clicking on the button that says to email you your password, which ultimately leads to a change password screen on the EA website (which for some reason, prompted me to make an Origin ID as well). I did this, tried the new password, and it still won't work (still does work in Dragon Age 2 though).

 Well, according to a reply on this post, Mass Effect 2 does not support special characters on their login screen. Which is a little silly...seeing as how EA now requires them on all passwords.

Just reloaded ME2 and all of my DLC and I am having the same problem. When I set up the password in the game it asked for no special characters and I used none.

Thanks Raudell, making a new password with nothing but letters and digits worked.
