Ive read atleast half of the script, maybe an early version, and they seem to be EVERYWHERE, able to do anything, always one step ahead of shepherd, i always got that they was nothing more than a glorified PMC, is it mentioned anyway how its possible ? Maybe under the control of the reapers ?

Dont get me wrong i love most of what i read, i just dont like how they are suddenly able to field armies in nearly every planet/city shephard is fighting on.

Even if this is the spoiler forum, please if its pivotal to the endgame plot, or an important point, dont answer my question :P

Cerberus has tons of money and many different sources of information. Use both wisely and you can get a lot done in a very short period of time.

They have a cloning facility just like how darth malak had the star forge in KOTOR which could make tons of ships very quickly and the foundary which could make tons of battle driods in a short amount of time.

There is no justification for it, it's just terrible forced writing to make Cerberus work as a major (really the primary) antagonist.

After ME2 and Retribution Cerberus should have been at their weakest, not strongest.

Canonically, Cerberus finds the Hail Mary technology from the Collectors regardless of whether you blow up the base or not, and couples an infinite army with years of ship and weapons stockpiles that weren't all crushed by the Retribution crackdown.

In reality, Bioware made a decision some time after ME2 that Cerberus would be the primary non-Reaper antagonist of ME3.

Because they have lots of money. If you have money, you have power. The more money you have, the more power you have. It's the way humanity has always been, and always will be.

No i just came into the series with me3 for the awesome SHOOTING ACTION YEAAAWH!

No really, when did cerberus have the power projection of a whole nation, hell more than the citadel council ? Especially to man abandoned alliance bases all over citadel space.

I agree mainly that they have been made into what can only be explained as the main grunts that you fight, the equivalent of the geth/collectors, its rather saddening. Didnt edi explain they worked in small, non communicative outfits ? Thats what leads me to believe most if not all of cerberus was indoctrinated and had a change of company policy and used its wealth to recruit and rebuild, i havent read how they did it so i can see no other way especially in just the events between arrival and trial.

Actually there is. Whether it's a good justification is another topic.

If Cerberus can bring Shepard back to life then I'm pretty sure they have aton of resources. I don't think they work in small units mainly because the Reapers are attacking and there is entirely to much at stake for them to just send small teams in. Add the fact that they are going against Shephard, His Squad, And Everyone else backing him you'll have some explanation for why they are sending everything they got into the fight.

I'd say it is less justification and more of a lampshading.

I suppose it is if you're a sore Cerberus fanboy who likes to make the whole game look bad at every opportunity.

Explaining it is justifying it. How Cerberus got its army is a significant part of its story in ME3. You know that.

Explaining isn't justifying, anymore than good is synonymous with nice.

Well in the novels the illusive man has more up under his sleeve, in fact Shepard was a mere side pawn to distract a much larger operation. They already had reaper tech before Shepard chose to preserve or destroy the collector base.
