Through a console command or something besides completing the game and starting over?

Are there even enough experience points available to get to level 60 without completing the game and starting over? I hit 50 easily enough the first time round but it seems you need to get all those points, a whole game's worth, again to get the next ten levels. And that includes driving everywhere for artifacts and minerals, getting every codex entry you can, getting out of the Mako and finishing off enemies on foot, etc, most of which I skipped and ended up 80,000 points short of Level 60 after two playthroughs. I'm guessing that even without the cap it just can't be done in one go, though that makes me wonder what's the point of the cap in the first place.

No there isn't enough, but I hit 50 on my ME1 playthrough and just want to set him to 60 then import into ME2.

Ah, I asked almost the same thing a couple of days ago except I did the second playthrough and just missed. The advice I was given was to add xp in the console - command list here: http://masseffectwik.../wiki/PC_Cheats The only thing I didn't get clarification on was if it would cause problems for the import because there's this bit right at the start of that wiki:

Using the cheat codes mentioned on this article may alter your profile permanently, and tag it as invalid. Therefore, it is recommended to back up your entire profile for the option to revert back later on.

I'm guessing that if it does cause problems it'd be pretty common knowledge and maybe it's just arse covering, but I ended up taking my Level 59 into ME2 without looking into it further because I just wanted to get on with it. Finding it harder going so I may go back and level her up again after all.

The level at which you enter ME2 does not matter all that much.. I have not noticed a big difference between a level 50 and a level 60 character, as all levels are reset anyway. You only get slightly more experience at the start if you are level 60, but it is not worth hacking or playing the entire game again over.

It was more the credits and resources than the extra level and talent points for me. I think I got used to being buried knee deep in cash every time you blow away a handful of geth. :)
