Whether when i flew to a planet and select/investigate it, will EDI detect anomalies just like in ME2, without using active scans on the system?

It's IGN, so I'm not hoping for an objective review. But it is nice to see the videos they're making. The Mars vid is interesting.

Judging by the first paragraph of the review, I'd say no. The guy clearly loves ME.

I don't think anyone should really take IGNs review serious since you know....one of their workers is voicing that ugly character called Allers. They are not going to be fair at all.

It's never a good idea to rely on a single review to be free from bias.  Listen to the content of the points they make, compare their validity with those of others.

I predict 9-10 without even thinking because of how bias IGN is with Mass Effect.

Well if one believes the ratings of a review then he's to be disappointed at some time. For Example IGN rated Fallout 3 with 9.6 but to me it was one of the weakest games I played. I could never get myself to start a second playthrough.

On the other hand they rated Assassins Creed with "just" a 7.5 but to me it was one of the best games I played ever. Yeah I know it has quite a few flaws, but to me the immersion was incredible impressive. I could, and I bet most could as well, continue such a list as a review is still nothing but a subjective point of view on a game. But still they are useful to gather some information on things like the new scanning minigame.

Unfortunately it is nowadays a standard that publishers enforce a late publication on reviews until the day on or after the release, that's why I believe this review on IGN will not be completed unitl the 6th of March. One may wonder why.

LOL. Shepard's ridiculous walk and Allers' bondage dress.I preferred her linemen run. Nice CIC update though, looks like a big budget BSG set piece. Also cool thing about buying weapons from The Normandy.

Convenient, actually. I kind of missed the Requisitions Officer in ME2, since I had to go individually to each store in person to make sure I hadn't missed anything. Balanced out by the lack of scrolling tedium, but still, buying stuff on the ship saved me a lot of needless running around.

That's one thing I hated about ME1. You had to do so much in order to get enough credits to buy anything worth using. Hopefully the credits to price ratio in ME3 is more forgiving like in ME2.

I liked the card table that was in one of the observation decks. Hopefully there's some character interaction that happens there.

Considering it's IGN, A 10/10 is imminent.

Even though IGN is completely bonkers about ME, I predict a 9.5.

Jessica Chobot is in Mass Effect 3, there's no way they'd give this game a bad score.

So how long will it take them to make a review? Considering this is 4 days old news.

I think Friday is when the review comes out, since they said the review in progress will follow Kingdoms of Amalur's style of review (3 updates, with the final one including the review).

We'll see how that goes though...

Also if they give it a 10/10, it won't be for Jessica Chobot, who is in no way relevant to reviewers. I expect a 9/10 or higher, but that's for their own reasons...

That's moronic, She hardly even works there anymore.
