There is no need to make sweeping generalizations like that, it makes you sound just as bad as the person you're bickering with.

Did you hear that hint of attitude Ash had with Shep on Mars? It will be interesting to see how that dynamic plays out.

She might also be perturbed to know I've been smashing out on Miranda as well. But hey, when your literally saving the galaxy, playas gon' play....amirite??

Only a blind console player is so easily pleased by sub-par animations.

IGN gets way to much hate on here! It's all opinions people. Colin is a good reviewer & I trust he'll give it a score that most will agree on.

It has less to do with disagreement as is does with a combination of reviews that don't explain enough, reviews that don't give enough credit to games that aren't as ugly as they're painted, reviews that heap praises on games that aren't as gold as their cracked up to be, and most annoyingly of all, the tendency of major professional review sites to make certain games, usually big name ones, look really good because companies give them incentives to help them sell games. Oh, and a personal pet peeve of mine: how only big-name games ever seem to get suitably long and in-depth reviews.

In that case you should thank your lucky stars you even have animations, with graphics like that on a 6 year old system. Infact, if there are bad animations it's more than likely to cater to the serious lack of power of your chosen format.

Congrats!

It's wierd that they sent them the PS3 version. As a PS3 player who played the demo,it easily got the least amount of attention, so why are they sending that version for review?

Oh yeah, that wound's still a-bleedin'. I won't spoil how it gets resolved (or, potentially, blows up spectacularly why the bad guy laughs like a loon in the background), but it does sound like an interesting development to say the least.

That is simply not acceptable, there better be a day one patch to fix this crap.

Er, no. The PS3 version has technical issues. That's all that was being said. And it's not unexpected; the PS3 version of ME2, which was supposedly running on ME3's engine, was a pretty bad port.

Everyone don't waste your time with Ign/Ign like sites. The PS3/360 versions could have a lot of bugs and they'd still give the game 10.Your better off reading a customer review than trusting the big review sites , some of which only play 25% to 50% of a game before reviewing it.

And have the nerve to call themselves game reviewers.

Congrats!

I can't enjoy the game with such slow movement there was no reason to change the ME2 animations they were working just fine.

I am not a fan of the new cover animation at all in the Mars video, towards the end (around 2:50). It's completely stiff now. A massive downgrade from ME2, which had Shepard peek out and felt and looked extremely fluid. I think they cut that animation out because we can now roll from cover to cover and so on, but it still just looks so stiff and bad.

The rest of the Mars video was great, especially the music.

It's not a videogame without the visual aspect; graphics deserve all the attention developers can pay to them.

The animations are surprisingly worse this time, which bugs me because we already had plenty workable animations from the prequels. I don't often see games dumb down animations in their sequels; generally they either re-use the same exact animations for the same actions or they improve them.

The animations, lip syncing, clipping are probably in all versions luckily the PC version can be fixed to an extent with the UDK. The framerate issues are PS3 exclusive.

The original "Mass Effect" had horrible, potentially game-breaking technical issues yet no one seems to remember that, or care about it.
