"It's also
worth noting that a few technical issues arise on the PS3 version as
soon as you start playing, too. Fairly serious framerate issues plague
the opening cinematic on Earth, and while this particular problem clears
up as you play further through the game via future cutscenes, these
hitches certainly concerned me early on. Likewise, lip-syncing is almost
always off and characters sometimes appear stiff and can even flicker
in and out of cutscenes when camera angles change."
K, the retail game sucks. Now we know. Rofl.
Wonder where the "it's a demo" crowd is now.
I know where the trolls are.

I just want to know what the dialogue is like in the intro and the rest of the game for the final version, enough of the console wars

None of the little voice-clip changes that DA2 exhibited?
...or have you even played the retail version yet?

Batman AA and AC. Skyrim, ME2, Crysis 2
Conversely the same games run perfectly on 360

Please note: a mod has expressed the desire that we close this rather tired thread of the conversation. I suggest we all comply.

It was Battle Dialog.
Like banter, it happens on the go.
I doubt anyone would want a conversation wheel to spontaniously pop-up while that other batch of Cerberus agents round the corner to shoot you.

IGN gives everything 10s, whether they deserve them or not. I'll wait for a review site that I actually trust to review it.

I think it's because most of these games are being developed on xbox's programming code, wich is supposed to be easier to write and stuff, at least I think so.

...Uh... what?
That has to be the least accurate summmary of IGN's failures ever. Apart from "I don't like them because the editor tried to teach cave trolls to tap-dance and got my little sister's pet gerbil killed in the process," I mean.

You're being hyperbolic, it might have been choppy at times but it was hardly gamebreaking or ****.
Anything I've said has been repeated several times in reviews of the game. It's not hyperbole, it's reality.
And I never said the choppiness was game-breaking. There were several bugs in the game....getting stuck on the elevators....falling through the terrain in the Mako....the Mako going insane and glitching out as you're driving it....Martriarch Benezia's biotic attacks knocking you through the walls in Noveria, which would result instant death...
Hell, how much time do you have? I could go on and on....
Anyway, my point is despite all these technical shortcomings the game it STILL seen as the best in the series by a decent chunk of the BSN crowd. Which is why it's extremely ironic some of these same people are harping on the relatively small technical issues of "ME3".

what I am saying is that ultimately you cannot use this review to assume other versions of the game suffer from the same issues

btw, I'm playing on 360, and apparently the graphics is going to look the same as PS3, that's what Casey said.
