Are we still talking about a simple little glitch in a non competitive multiplayer of computergamedemo or did the topic suddenly change to a creepy mass murderer who slaughtered your whole family right after he raped them all?
Not saying you're overreacting or anything. Just curious.
Invincibility is not what i consider a "Little glitch"
and your a very crude person. This is a fan forum and i'm going to be passionate about the game i love, i think most others here would be too.
I am a crude person, is that so? Well, at least I'll be sleeping well tonight and won't be hyperventilating all day long. And neither do I feel the urge to insult or accuse people. I think thats a fair tradeoff.

You do know, that pretty much every major shooter since the first version of counterstrike has this reload exploit, right?
Yeah, people sure loved it when people did that in Counterstrike. The point is, when it's unintentional, the developers don't claim it's a feature. When it is intentional, it's implemented so that it doesn't compliment only one weapon and is maybe hinted at in-game before some dude on a forum finds out about it months after the game is released and shares it with everyone.

I wasn't aware this was a thread discussing the ultimate evil. The multiplayer is going to be as patched as an ex-smoker (that used patches) months from now anyway. If enough people discover and exploit this cheat, it'll be brought to the developers attention, if not, it'll be mostly forgotten or relegated to a couple people who somehow enjoy removing any challenge from a game. So, you're right, it's not worth getting upset about.
Claymore thing is still a cheat though, dammit.

But when i call you crude thats crossing the line. Right?

Well, I mean you are actually insulting the way in which he is going about calling people cheaters. And then you even tried to say that he's acting like someone murdered and raped his family. Pretty sure you overreacted about his overreactedness.
But in all honestly, I feel as though this is an issue that the devs will undoubtedly fix. It's not a huge problem by any means, but its something that I doubt would be intential and can potentially spoil the game for some.

nova cancel should be possible, but not for unlimited amount of times.
Why should it be possible?
And this may stay unpatched even if it is a bug. I have not seen any indication that Bioware gives a rats ass about game balance in multiplayer.
Ofcourse white-knighters and biodrones will blindly say how the classes are super balanced(lol asari vs human adept) or how immortality exploits are "perfectly fine".
They have to understand noone can take such a multiplayer seriously with such things, and it will always be seen as a tacked/half-baked addition. Do they really want the general online gaming community to say "lol ME3 multiplayer" whenever it is ever mentioned?

I hope you are joking. If this is a bug, then your worse than that bastard who hacked the n7 leader boards to get to ranking 180.
By exploiting this knowingly your cheating. End of story
And that obviously is an exploit, aka not intended and also making it competitively unballancing.

Didn't need to. It isn't knee-jerk if I've known about the trick for a while now, is it? It takes skill to properly execute this move well enough to see the real benefit from it; it's not like anyone can go mash RB and A and solo gold now. All it does is add a survivability technique to a class that can use all the survivability it can get.
Money bet the people crying CHEATER are the ones hiding a mile away behind some cover with a cloak on sniping, or spamming stasis bubbles, while their Vanguard comrades are out there trying to live and kill inside an enemy huddle formation.

Although neithier are right the nova fake exploit is far worse since it is basically unlimited damage immunity and will make gold soloable in no time by most vanguards who use this tacticJestina wrote...

Even the guy who posted the video claimed that it's most likely an exploit. Also, pointing out other things that are overpowered to a lesser degree in no way justifies cheating. If you want to go ahead and do it fine. Just don't claim you're playing it as intended or that it takes some sort of master player. You're cheating and the rest of your team knows it.

2.I play a melee specced krogan Soldier who uses an evisc. Or i play My turian sentinel who uses the avenger with scope with points into plenty of of defense+Overload+weapon damage.
Neithier of which are snipers, and both are very mobile but i do tend to stay at a distance with the turian at the start of rounds since that is the right way to play my class....
I also recently unlocked salarian infiltrator and never got him past 6 because i hated the sniper so much.

I didn't point them out because they're overpowered to justify this not-really-overpowered-at-all trick. I just called you out on being butthurt about Vanguards when you probably have no idea what playing that up close and personal is like. And other than using it to stay alive so I could save my downed teammates in a game before (and no, they weren't mad that I cheated) I only really use this when I try to solo multiplayer. If that still gets your panties all in a twist then just lol.
So even though your teammate using this to survive shouldn't have any negative impact on your own experience with the game whatsoever, you can go ahead and keep patting yourself on the back and complaining about the "cheating" if you must. You know, just like you probably did when we found the claymore reload trick and you all were crying just as hard about that exploit til the Devs put a stop to it bigtime.
Doesn't really phase me who thinks it's cheating, just like it shouldn't phase anyone else when someone does use it in their game.

Yes it will have a negative impact on my experience.
If he cheats and he's on my team then i didn't really win, because i benefitted from his cheating. It won't make me a cheater like you are, but it will be an unfair win and i'll earn unfair credits getting unfair weapons giving me an eventual unfair advantage.
And the claymore reload trick is not comparable at all to the scale of the Vanguard nova cancel. THe claymore reload trick wasn't going to carry you though gold.
and of course your teamates weren't mad you cheated. likley because they didn't know you ****ing cheated.

Hacking the game to get unlimited ammo, health, one shot kills
THAT is cheating, this is very different, you are doing something that is possible within the game, and UNTIL a dev comes and says whoops, isn't cheating.
I agree, is cutting reload frames on the sniper cheating, perhaps using the sentinel tech armor to cancel damage is also cheating, the only thing wrong with this is that you can spam it forever, while other classes with invincibility frames only get to spam it twice (so far).
I am willing to bet that adrenaline rush also gives you invincibility frames, so that would mean that all the fighter classes have them, only problem is that soldier/sentinel get to spam it once or twice every 4 seconds while vanguard gets a window of damage of little longer than 0.4 seconds.
Also you can still get stabbed or grabbed...
