They already didn't in ME2. What did you expect?
In ME2 she was just "lol,I'm insane and I like killing. I blame my mommy for it". There simply wasn't enough time in ME3 to give her a fleshed out character imo. And her becoming a Banshee but not Samara is at least interesting....

I honestly think I am going to laugh in Morinth's face when I see her as a banshee, and while I kill her I will be saying "Karma's a b*tch ain't it you psychotic f*ck?"

Actually, according to the Morinth thread, this was a false alarm. Morinth only appears as a banshee if you fail Samara's loyalty mission, or possibly never do it at all. If you kill Samara for her, she takes Samara's place in that mission.

That'd make most of the lines which Shepard delivers regarding Morinth at the end of the mission pointless, he talks about Morinth in a past tense.

That won't be Morinth that will be a corpse lol.

Other than that, I'm glad I won't see that ****. Never failed Samara's loyalty mission, and never killed Morinth.

Maybe that was the one where he failed Samara's loyalty mission?

On the plus side, maybe if you sleep with an Ardat-Yakshi Banshee, you won't die (despite feeling very very painful)?

He mentions Morinth being on his team.

So let me get this streight.

1) Morinth is a temp squadie.
2) Morinth becomes a banshee no matter what?

Fixed, if she's alive.

Ok, then I'm sure that isn't the case. I was told she is a squadie. And that there is a choice of what to do with her sisters, and that she is present during the choice, and that you get the dominate bonus power after the mission.

I just wanted to know if after ALL of that she becomes a banshee.

If not then there is something else that makes her a banhsee. Some other choice.

Not Samara's fault that the detectives superiors are too stupid to realize she has no way of containing a super powered biotic.

Yeah, she should have eat them

I liked both of them. For me, they are MUCH MORE interesting than Liara.(I love the history of the ardakt Yashi)
I would trade Liara for any of the two.

I'm not sure what any of you expected out of Morinth really. Just because a character is there doesn't mean they have to be grandiose, I think they did the right thing making her interesting but still a minor character. Would you have been happy if she were a boring minor character?

I say minor because like said above: she's not fleshed out. She's more of a place holder/tool if anything. Samara described her as a drug addict and just because she has a rare disease doesn't exactly make her a unique snowflake because she presents the same standing as a addict would + powers. Her becoming a banshee is believable imo survival of the fittest and she became the fittest.

It was good enough for me to see her be there as depth to the universe and one of it's many mysteries. Morinth herself didn't interest me but her purpose did.
