Yup, thanks... now I'm even more excited.^^

I love how refined the artstyle is this time around, starting with the UI and ending with characters and surroundings... especially when compared to part one, which I replay again at the moment.

We have come a looong way indeed...

Watching the galaxy map video and getting my first look of the Normandy interior made me more then happy.

Every single day for the last 2 weeks I have being scambling the internet for any kind of mass effect spoilers.  Barely any luck really.

Funny how IGN puts up gameplay videos that are clearly taken from the Xbox 360 versions, while at the same time throwing up a negative in-progress review of the PS3 version.

Setting that quagmire aside, this looks so great!

These have been the best couple of videos I've seen pre-release. Sadly, just like the demo, it just made me more anxious for release day. I'm really impressed with the improvements all around.

Well, the PS3 version runs like crap.

Apparently. Frustrating for anyone who intends to play the game on that platform.

Good thing I'm not one of them, because this looks awesome.

Actually, it isn't very negative at all - they enjoy almost everything in the game. The only complaint so far has been the PS3 technical issues, which they put aside by saying (bolds are my own):

"It's also worth noting that a few technical issues arise on the PS3 version as soon as you start playing, too. Fairly serious framerate issues plague the opening cinematic on Earth, and while this particular problem clears up as you play further through the game via future cutscenes, these hitches certainly concerned me early on. Likewise, lip-syncing is almost always off and characters sometimes appear stiff and can even flicker in and out of cutscenes when camera angles change.

The good news is that these problems don't injure a title that relies almost entirely on its otherwise top-notch presentation. If you can get past these sorts of aesthetical hiccups, you'll find a title drowning in a deep, well-fleshed out story surrounded by intriguing characters, both familiar and unfamiliar. Remember that the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 also had their own technical problems -- long load times and some severe texture pop-in, for instance -- but that those problems didn't at all erode away the overall story-driven experience."

I would totally make an LP of Mass Effect 3, but the best LPs tend to be dual or group LPs. See Chip Cheezum and General Ironicus (chipandironicus.com) and Maxwell Adams and the Freelance Astronauts (freelanceastronauts.com).

That is to what I was referring, yes. While that sounds good, I'm sure that those problems are not going to be just written off by many PS3 gamers.

I complained about the return of ME2-style scanning in another thread I created, but I will say that the rest of this is looking really good, particularly some of the squad banter and how an old friend comes onto the scene. Awesome, if a bit disconcerting regarding the character's development (that's not a complaint, as it's entirely appropriate, just that most of my Shepards will be all  "We need to talk").

The best LP is the one without commentary.

You've never seen a proper, Something Awful-style LP, have you?

Thank you for giving me that information, I'm glad my friend from Noveria is doing well:wizard:
wait wrong post!

So, now i have one question:
  • Be aware, however, that each time the pulse is used, the chance that Reapers will enter the system to investigate is increased.
  • If a Reaper enters the system you are in, flee and wait until you have completed a mission before returning.
if you stay waiting for the reapers, you die, right?

I Know that this doesn't happen but it would have being cool to just turn the normandy into the reapers thanix cannon and battle the reaper driving the ship.

Pretty sure this is to play up the mistrust she has for Shepard after his stint with Cerberus.

So, I take it they used Space Edition 1 for the footage?
Good to see it came out of its orbital-odyssey intact!
