My characters would be standing right next to Wynne, who had cleansing aura on and their injuries didn't disappear.  I haven't had any problems with cleansing aura until recently.  I don't know if it has anything to do with the new patch I downloaded, or if it's something else that's causing this.  If anyone has any answers to fixing this problem, please reply.

Are they standing close enough to her?

For further troubleshooting, please read the "Read First" post towards the top of the forum, and follow the examples for providing us with info.  Thanks!

Sorry; I will remember to do it right away next time ><. YYes; they are standing exactly next to, behind, and in front of her. -Edition: ultimate edition of Dragon Age Origins.

-Format: retail disk. -processor type and speed: AMD Phenom™ 9150e ~1.8 GHz. -System RAM: 5GB. Display adapter type, its RAM, and its driver version: GeForce 7300 256 MB, driver 196.21. -Sound adapter: Realtek High Definition Audio. Version of Windows: Vista Home Premium, 64-bit.

-Third party mods: Qwinn's Unofficial DA:O fixpack 2.0, and Healing Received Effect. Issue: Wynne's cleansing aura is not curing the injured members of the group. When it started occurring: I just noticed it yesterday when three of my characters died and Wynne resurrected them; her cleansing aura was on. They were literally either next to her on one of her sides, behind, or in front of her. How often this happens: Since I noticed that the cleansing aura was not healing the injuries, it has been like that constantly.

Where in the game: the issue is not occurring in a specific time or place in the game, but is constantly occurring whenever a member is injured and Wynne has the aura one, and when they're within proximity of the aura's radius. This happened in Brecilian forest at the "abandoned campsite," when all of my party members except Wynne died. After I resurrected them, out of habit, I checked to see if their injuries disappeared, but none of them were gone. I waited for several minutes and then I looked on the forums and through web search if anyone else was having problems with cleansing aura, or if it was just me, for some reason. I then looked to see if anyone had resolved their issue with it, but so far, I have not found a solution; and I looked up mods that perhaps fixed this possible bug, but I saw none myself. I decided to try to see if I could fix it myself using tool kit, but even using the toolkit tutorials and the tutorials on the wiki page, I didn't get anywhere.

Qwinn's fixpack was never (last I checked) updated to work with 1.05, so I would say that's first to go. Then test. If that doesn't work, lose the other one (which I am not familiar with). Worst case scenario is that the mods have affected the installation and a re-install is required.

I use unmodded 1.05 and Cleansing Aura works fine. I just put up with the base bug of not getting benefits from +x healing items (because of which I don't keep many unless the rest of the item is worthy).

I just deleted the fixpack and then when I tried loading my game, it said I need the fixpack. ><   Now it was saying I need to download Golem's Might even though I have downloaded it.  But, after uninstalling and reinstalling the game twice, I finally fixed that.

Well done. Mods can be very nice to have for some people, but there's always a caveat with their use! Good luck in the future.

Thank you, and thanks for suggesting removing them. :D That is why I usually avoid mods, to avoid complications. You were right too; it was the mods that was interfering with cleansing aura. I apologize for wasting everyone's time, and I appreciate it at the same time. I overreacted I guess. lol.

No real trouble at all. Happy to help. "Read first" or sometimes other stickies, almost always pay dividends!
