I'll admit that Jacob is overshadowed by the other characters, but hate? Not at all. I like his stability, Jacob's the only squadmate that doesn't require Shepard's psychiatric treatment.

No, his dialogue sucks, his romance sucks, his role in ME3 and plot sucks.
He is a sh*tty character.

I liked him. I hated my Fem Shep dialog options with him. Seems like if you could have talked to him a different way the conversations would have been more fun. And after meeting and shooting his super creepy dad, I was rather glad he was too normal.

At least Jacob is humorous... though unintentionally so. Even his creators dislike him (in DLC they always poke fun at Jacob). Poor Jacob.

:sigh: im not a big kaidan fan myself. im not gona say omg hes whiney but he does seem rather boring to me in me1.
now i wont lie i did romance him in my last me1 play and stayed loyal to him in me2.
i just hope they built on his charachter because i want to like him but i dont know i just cant force myself to from me1
