Jacob and Kaiden are attempts at the Normal guy in the dysfunctional unit... and Jacob kinda fails at it. At first, I really liked that Jacob was upfront and honest with me as opposed to Miranda and TIM's answer everything in halftruths and lies or questions.

but then... Jacob just becomes stand offish, distant and kinda blah

I know some people whine about Kaiden for being "whiney" but atleast he seemed put together as a person and for the most part was the most held together character... with Wrex and his bitterness after him... apparently they wanted to give everybody in Me2 something angst about and Jacob just never stops angsting.

So I'm a little boy because you're a hypocrit??  That makes sense.......giving up is a typical sign of getting shut down anyways.  Stop flaming the hate thread because people want to hate a VIDEO GAME CHARACTER.  Why is it so hard for people to see the flawed logic in defending pixels???

I thought it was he was gonna be a bit boring when I first saw him but by the end of the game he was my main bro I thought the coversations between him & Shepard were quite good, great little bromance. I also found his loyality mission and some of the things he talked about to be quite interesting. Out of the new ME2 squadmates he was my third favourite after Miranda & Samara.
