Is it worth keeping ME2 for the PS3 and getting ME3 for the PS3 after suffering a few major glitches?

Okay, so I've suffered a few nasty glitches during my time with ME2 on the PS3. I have a friend who has never complained about any glitches similar to this and was wondering whether it was worth keeping my copy for the PS3 and my preorder for the PS3 version of 3 or if I should move over to the Xbox version (my PC cannot run the games) .

So the issue I'm suffering is having a single character become corrupted, but not my other character while also having volume issues (where the dialogue becomes almost inaudible and only the sound effects can be heard)  and a couple of times freezing. Is this a serious flaw that would cause me to necessitate getting the 360 versions of the games or is it something that will not prove too disastrous in the long run? Thanks for any input.

I wouldn't know. The only major glitch that i had was when the voice overs where lagged but i salved that problem by deleting the patch for the game and starting up a new game. Try that and if it doesn't work then i would say get it on XBOX.

just go to your save data utilities i beleave (where all of your game data is stored) you will see 2 different files for Mass Effect 2 one of them says game data and the other says DLC and patches delete the one titled DLC and patches. The only 2 drawbacks i had was that i was not able to sign into my PSN account till i turned the game off and i had to redownload my DLC.

Thanks, I found it and tried this, but it refused to get better. So I went out and acquired the 360 version. It's amazing how quickly you can blaze through the main campaign when you know what you are doing.

The only glitches I've encountered in my PS3 version are dialogue cutting out before they're done speaking and the occasional floating in certain locations.

Also I can clear ME2 100% in about a week of playing now. And that's when I only play a few hours a day.
