there is no real characters I hate with a passion. There are some character I do not think are the nicest of people.

I.e. Jack (granted she gets better if you romance her), the council (needed but annoying) and I guess Zaeed as well.

but still would not say I hate them there just characters I do not agree with and some are necessary for the story.

I don't like the concept of Vega, no matter if he is likeable or not. I prefer seeing different facetts of the universe, instead of yet another human soldier.

Everyone else is quite fine though.

You say you hate "Kaiden," but I've never met this character in either game.  Who is this "Kaiden" you speak of?

while jacob wasn't the most interesting, i thought his LM was pretty good.
other than that i liked every character in the series so far for what they've brought to the series.

p.s. i don't see how people are hating on new ME3 characters (i.e. Vega, Allers, etc.). wait until the games out, you may be pleasantly suprised

Yeah, I agree. Horizon put me right off Ashley. She deserved a Heavy Warp to the face. Looks like someone beat me to it, though.

I don't really hate any of the characters. I don't like Ashley as much as some of the others, though. But then again, she's not in my ME3. ;-) I'm also... not really fond of the art direction behind Vega.

I hate them both.  Kaidan is a p**sy and jacob is an uncle tom.  Also James Vega just because he looks like a character from Jersey Shore.

Don't get all the Jacob hate. He was a bit bland, but that's honestly what I liked about him. He seemed more real, just a dependable guy

I don't really hate anything except Boston sports teams (and the New York Knicks), much less any video game characters. The only character I've ever flat-out refused to even speak to is Kaidan, but that's only because I frequently play as Femshep and can't be assed to remember the ninjamance line so as to avoid it. There are a few characters I don't take on missions very much (Samara, Jack) but that's for gameplay reasons and lately I've been laying off that purely because I'm on an egalitarian kick right now and don't reeeeally care about totally optimal gameplay.

He looks like an Elvis impersonator with hemmorhoids. If you've never played FemShep, you may not have had the pleasure. You're not missing anything.

The point is that his name is spelled with two As. There is no E in Kaidan.

Oh year Vega too. Big friggen beefyguy that looks as if his primary goal in lif has been to lift inanimate objects. I know some say he will evolve as a character, but he is basically a blunt tool sent in to do the heavy lifting.

He's ME3's version of Kaiden / Jacob.
Basically the new guy whose supposed to be the every day guy who new players will be most likely to connect with.

He wins points for being voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.... But he loses points for being voice by Freddie Prinze Jr.

Thanks for categorizing me in a group I'm not a part of.

Anyway, I dislike Udina (though he's just doing his job, cannot blame him for that) and cannot stand listening to Tali (which is strange, because I have never hated her before). Miranda pisses me off a bit in the beginning of the game, but that becomes less and less as the story progresses.

Bingo!  Haha it was a cheap setup on my part, sorry.  Also I like Kaidan.  He's a conscientious dude.
