That isn't true at all.

I have no anger toward anyone. I'm merely stating the reason why some games don't work the way they do on the Xbox, despite the PS3's superior GPU. Sony, however, did choose to go with an advanced and somewhat prototype CPU architecture. They could have just as easily gone with standard CPUs made by Intel or AMD. That's the only thng they are at fault for.

It's the otherway around.X360 has a better gpu, PS3 has a better CPU.
Turns out a better GPU with more ram allocated to it, is better and easier to work for than a more powerful CPU.
That's all. (Oh and I have both x360 and PS3 and a PC as well. I don't care for and I am not interested in fanboyism)

I know the added RAM on the Xbox was a godsend for developers, but I always thought the PS3s GPU had more raw processing power.

I only have an Xbox and PC right now, but I used to own a PS3 (had to sell it because of financial reasons) but I don't speak from a bias point of view.

 Thanks EA.

I'm sure that if your ****ty publishing company didn't buy out Bioware we'd still be getting quality titles.

argh! pre-order cancelled!

A demo is a sales pitch. It is supposed to represent the final product.

Yeah well get used to it because it's like it in the full game. Just imagine you are playing a Japanese game dubbed to English (although FF was no where as bad as this).

It totally was as bad, and in fact was worse, until FF13 came along and Square decided to man up and go the extra mile to sync up mouth movements to the English dub. FF10's lip syncing was nonexistant even in Japanese and while FF12 synced perfectly to the Japanese, they just kept the Japanese lip-sync in the English version.

ME3's lip-syncing looks bad in the demo, but notably, it appears to be worst with Anderson by far. Everything else is at least tolerable.

Odd how the animation quality just takes an all-around dip in this game compared to the first two... very strange. Like the game got an ill-aimed budget slash or something.

There's no difference in animation. The only real difference between the demo and the final product in that case was that a few lines of dialogue were changed in the final version (a bit of the Varric/Casandra dialogue, that is).

The lip-synching looks fine on the salarian mission, I thought (I'll have to play the demo again just to be sure). Maybe it's just the opening mission.

I hope so, it would really bother me if lip syncing was off for the whole game.

After having to play ME1 on the PC.. I can say the lip-synch is no where near as bad as in that game, especially in regards to Anderson who's lips never matched and often clipped with each other.

Opinions. They look like facts, but aren't. Remember that.

This series isn't known for good lip-syncing, but the demo appeared to be worse than both ME1 and ME2, in my opinion.

Unless they improved that somewhat in the final product, at least enough to be in line with the previous two games, then it'll probably bother me nonstop through my playthroughs.

Context, as far as Lip-synching goes, ME2 was much better.

How the hell is it any worse than ME and ME2? Answer: IT'S NOT. Stop imagining things. ME games never had the best animations or lip synch. This doesn't excuse it being bad in ME3 again, you'd figure they'd put a priority on that somewhere down the line considering how much dialogue the game has. But anyone who says ME did it better is soooooo delusional.

It looks like it might be a timeline issue, or a few missplaced keyframes.

I find the hand-wringing here very, very amusing.

Maybe it's because I only played the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2, but the lip-syncing didn't seem bad to me at all. Of course, the lip-syncing in ME2 on the PS3 was almost always a little off, so maybe I just got used to it. Never saw it any different, like I guess you PC, Xbox players.

But seriously, the chorus of :o :o :o o Noes couldn't be more laughable. As if ME1 and 2 didn't have their own issues.

Im pretty sure its in all versions. Its not a game breaker or anything, but why didnt they fix it? Too hard?

Only one way to fix it was to do it how Sony does it for uncharted . film the Voice actors in the mo cap studio acting out the scenes . so the mo cap can get lip synching

Misplaced blame tbh. Any degredation in quality is BioWare's fault.

First of all, this is the demo, have you played the release? The demo appears to be an older build of the game. Second, this is beating the dead horse.
