Hey all,
I'm playing a dual-wield rogue, and I notice that when I position myself behind an enemy for a backstab, he only uses the main hand to backstab.
As you know, dual-wielding 2 weapons makes your main hand do less damage than using only 1 weapon.
Would I do less damage if I dualwield while backstabbing? Would it be better for me to use only 1 weapon if I only backstab?
Backstab with dual wielding?

Possibly, but without 2 weapons you can't use the momentum talent which gives you crazy dps, and that more than makes up for the damage penalty of dual wielding.

Backstab only uses the main weapon, but you still attack the same number of times. Normally you'd alternate main ... off ... main ... off ... etc. But if your off hand attack is going to be a backstab it gets done with the main weapon instead. So your still better off having two weapons rather then one. Just make sure the off hand is fast (dagger), and put weapons that do extra damage in the main hand and weapons that add to things like critical chance or stats in the off hand.
