This is good to see, I seem to remember Gamestar being quite critical even of ME2 so it's possible they were hard to please.

Excatly, the reviews for DA2 were generally positive yet the game was a disaster.
I neither care these reviews nor take into consideration, i am going to play ME3 whatever they say negatively or positively.
In your opinion. In others opinions it was a game that warranted an 8/10 or so. Funny that.
Well if you were one of those people who felt DA2 was worth 8/10 you probably give the review more credibility thats how reviews work.
Technically, thats how *poor quality* reviews work. Any idiot can dream up an opinion and smash it down in black and white, you don't pay good money to read stuff like that.
A *high quality* review analyses the game and gives you an honest appraisal of what a game does well, does so-so, does badly and doesn't do. Even if the reviewer hates the game, a good review should be able to differentiate between what is the reviewers opinion and what is objectively good and bad.
In DA2's case, a game that was loaded with bugs, recycled its environments to comedic levels and had a go-nowhere storyline (complete with a Plan 9 From Outer Space-quality ending) simply can't justify the same grade given to games that are recognised as the classics of the market - if for no other reasons than it opens up the question why games that were similar to DA2 in execution got much lower scores.
