Crysis 2 isn't exactly known for having good AI. There are even YT videos mocking it, especially the alien AI.

And as for Crysis 1:

Of course, that was from the demo.

It's godly compared to the ME AI. But I'll give you that: I pulled a developer out of my ass on that one [I would still argue that Far Cry was REALLY good in that aspect, especially for... uhh... 2004/2005ish.]

Maybe they had higher standards? The AI can now climb and aren't stumped by slightly elevated terrain like in a certain other fantasy argh-pee-gee.

Omg shut up shut up shut up.

All you've done is whine non stop about your ****ty console struggling to play skyrim. It works flawlessly on my pc so invest in something more powerful than a toaster and shut up.

Never known someone to cry so relentlessly, jesus.

Lol everyone bringing DA2 up....lol.

Although I do like to hear what critics want to say about ME3, I never do listen. It is usually to glean for information about a game (god knows IGN runs into problems or has issues with things I never even see), I will not take it to heart because in ME3's case, I just want reinforcement on it to show how good it is; or for the haters, how bad and CoD and DA2 and all other stuff I hear it is.

What's funny is that Skyrim outsold DA + DA2 combined. B)

Alot of people in this thread seem to not understand opinions and the point of reviews. Can't say im surprised.

When the "Critic reviews" are twice as high as the user reviews something is wrong.

Really?

Like with Modern Warfare 3? Page after page of "0" user reviews? You really think it's so bad and could be so bad to any rational person that it deserves a complete "0?"

There are people that will go on Meta on the 6th and give the game a horrible score because they have to pay for the day one DLC. Or because of Andersen's walk animation.

For every 20 user reviews, ususally 2 or 3 have some valid, well-reasoned criticisms and look objectively at the game.

The rest of them look like the comment section for any Yahoo News article.

Not much really new, I guess. Gameplay time seems maybe a little short, though you'd really have to know how long they took on previous ME games to make a comparison.

20 hours for a main quest is pretty solid. If you speed rush ME1 doing just main quests, the game is easily over in under 10 hours. ME2 took longer due to recruitments, etc but even it was under 20 hours main quest only.

Why are you talking about Skyrim and Dragon Age 2 in a ME3 review thread?!

So? CoD 10 or whatever was released last year sold more than DA and DA 2 combined too.

And yes it is luke. :D

And we're talking about those two games because some fanatics point out how Lagrim got high reviews, therefore the game is good, while if ME 3 gets similar reviews, it must mean the reviewers are not honest/legitimate/bribed.

Because DA2 is an a game that objectively should never have had 87% from that magazine. It means take everything they say with a pinch of salt.

Example - Fantastic Animations .. read the IGN preview and it says something quite different.

I have seen several GameStar reviews. They are very good reviewers overall, and it seems like they liked ME3.
Sounds great to me!

Example - Lagrim - Combat. Some praised it, some didn't. Didn't affect the tone or final score.

I still want to know, in detail, what their complaints about the AI were, because the demo (both singleplayer and multiplayer) showed more intelligent AI than ME1 and ME2 combined.

Well, the issues were that sometimes, they stand around doing nothing, and that they still do the "Pop head in and out of cover"-shtick.

The rewiever said he was let down by the demo, too, so this is a good sign :)

I'm not happy at this 15-20 hours main quest playtime hope that was just the reviewer!
because me1 is usually takes 30 hours no sidequests and Me2 normally takes me 35 hours no sidequests.

Huh? What game are you playing? If you ignore side quests ME1 is a sub-10 hour game. ME2 stretches longer on account of the mission structure, but it's still easily doable in under 20 hours w/o side missions.

30 hour ME1 is with all side missions and extra content.
