I watched that yesterday... and though he is a bit whining too much, he has a point...

Two things are not entierly true, though: 1. The protean storyline will be in the game, no matter what, you just will not get him a squad mate without the DLC, so all you loose is another squadmate and a few comments to the ongoing story. 2. Companies have done that for a very long time... I mean distributing content that should have been in the original game after release... EA is just so obviouse about it, that it's starting too pi** of the customers, and THAT is never a smart thing to do... even when you basically have a monopole.

Sadly, it's working for them for a long time: Look at the EA sports games... they have been the exact same for years now, and people are still buying what basically should only have been updates.
