Well by the looks of that map they predicted it would be launching from the middle of London, but according to the Mass Effect twitter, the London copies are actully being launched from Cambridge so they will theoretically go somewhere within the outer London area.

If it being launched from Cambridge I don't see why not, depends on what the winds are like on Monday, though it would be hilarious if they landed in the middle of Buckingham Palace <_<S Atomeha wrote...

Though 11:30 AM and 12PM are strange starting times compared to all of the other cities.

11:30-12:00 is a bit of an odd time considering what time the yanks got, and I thought there was a Paris launch date for Tuesday 28th which has now its disappeared, maybe the French lucked out?.....

I would be interested to see what happened if the London copies got stuck on Big Ben

Aaaahhh I see, poor sods..............Anywho, the Las Vegas launch time in the end was 11am and New York's just got pushed back to 12PM, so London having a 11:30-12:00 time slot isn't all that odd really thinking about it, looks like only San Francisco and Berlin have the early morning starts at the moment; and for some reason I can see the German copies going off like clockwork
i really wished paris was still good to go, maybe it would get blown up here ^^

The queen: "Phillip! Phillip! Release the corgis!"
I'm nowhere near london (Newcastle) and I was thinking what might happen if it comes down in the centre of the city, I imagine it getting shot down or something if the rig is spotted near somewhere deemed high security (financial district, olympic stadium etc etc) Security is tightening up with the olympics. I'm curious how EA / Bioware got permission to launch this in the London area all things considering. I heard the paris one had to be called off.
I hope it doesnt get snagged in the London eye or stuck on the gherkin though. Also, nothing is worth a swim in the Thames. I feel ill just looking at it lol.

Except charity maybe. According to David Walliams at least.
Come on, isn't there anyone yet who has said 'Yeah, I'm defiantly getting the London one.'?

And ruin our reputation as cynical pessimists?
Indeed *tea sip*
Theres a few factors preventing me from knowing for sure if I'm going
-Whether or not the site will let me enter the competition on monday (since the option is not available for me at the moment)
-Whether or not that prediction site updates itself since it's been pretty damn accurate so far
- And if that new location isn't too far away from where I am
Then hells yeah I'm going
until then I shall remain undecided

Ok, Charity is an exception
Good luck to whoever takes part though, will anyone be posting photos / twitter updates during their adventures?
