I would LOVE to know who decided the launch location, seeing how it was 40 kilometers north of central London.

it's akin to doing the las Vegas launch in the middle of the desert.

At least they are bothering to include our country in the promotion. However much of a f*** up it may have been it's better than two years or so back when they did that US-only thing.

I'm wondering how fans found it so quickly with so few clues myself

for the costs of this farce they could have simply had a forum lottery and sent copies to lucky weiners.

after all this is where all the actual rabid fans hang out.

my costs to follow this farce to the goods would have been £318 approx.[lost wages and fuel]

Yeah, no s***.  The recovery party will reach the landing site and find a towel under the chute and games.

I dunno, I reckon the German launch will be astonishingly well-organised and go off without a hitch. I know that's appallingly racist (is it still racist if you're being complimentary?). ****-ups are a very British phenomenon. We are superb at them. Like you said, roll on 2012. The fireworks won't light up, the building won't be done yet and traffics a nightmare so everyone's late for their event ... 


Also @ EnglishRedneck and Monkeyseeker  This thread is pure win, even if the ballon thing has been a fail x
