well thats great. my freind took the day off to try snag me a copy as im stuck in middlesbrough. And hasnt been able to due to not being able to follow the dam thing. bioware could of at least made a post here in the fourms and an announcemeant on the website with the co-oordinate updates...

id love to see an online raffle of a few extra copies for all the people who tried to track it.

hell make it open to everyone. but it would at least make things a bit more fair

#ME3Space. The way we tracked the balloons in the US didn't work in EU, which was the start of these problems and why the site wasn't wrkng

The German launch should be just as interesting to watch then <_<

psht germans theyll be there within 10mns of its landing somehow.

They'll have their beach towels already placed on the landing spot.

OH LOL so true, I can almost see it ^_^

But like AllThatJazz said, no matter what a bugger up this very British event has been, the lols from this thread made the whole mess worth it :D

40 people have turned up? That's a reasonable crowd for the British, royal family stuff notwithstanding.. We're a nation of geeks! Embittered, cynical, moaning geeks. Yay!

Of course it's a ****-up. This is Britain. ****-ups are what we do best!

Just wait until the Olympics this summer!

I wonder if that pot smoking hippie Michael Phelps will get another 8 gold medals. He barely won his 8th in Beijing.

Bolded part: hahahahaha. Kinda like the American Revolution? THAT was a mess up.

OT: I was hoping the wind would catch it and it would land here in New England.

They should really re-do this, considering the massive mess it was.

That. Is. class.

@MikeShepard - yup, we are very old hands at the ****-up thing. Want something done badly with little organisation or attention to detail? You call us Brits, we'll handle it no probs B)

AHA! So I'm not the only one trapped up here in the Boro! I  stuck a message on my Facebook for any of my friends from the area to get there, it was a 5-10min trip for the ones who still live there, but nobody picked up on it.

Wait, where did it end up exactly?

Seems like a long way north, so I'm glad I didn't waste my time.

Actually even during the riots people were queuing up to steal stuff from a sports store. True story

The Metropolitan Police said it was focused on containing violent
disorder in Tottenham on Saturday night, which left dozens of officers
injured and saw squad cars, shops and flats burned to the ground.
But its tactics meant gangs of youths were free to break into stores at
nearby Tottenham Hale retail park and in Wood Green, with looters
forming an orderly queue in broad daylight to steal from a sports shop

More East than North, really. And not really that East, Since Dartford is pretty close to London.

@Monkeyseeker and Good Chaos - love those stories, we have the best riots.
