Bioware/EA decide to have this cool/quirky idea so a few lucky people can get their hands on ME3 early, but articles like this are going a little OTT in feeling like they're actually owed something if you ask me.

'Definatley let everyone who registered to play be able to buy the game now.. That’ll make up for it — Just '
with the response:
'That would be a good idea or at a reduced cost. '
Really? Where is this self entitlement coming from? 99% of those complaining have probably done nothing more than follow this from their computers. This only sucks for those who actually went out and tried to track down the balloon, but even then, its a risk, with no garuntee of success. Sortv'e like any competition you enter. Everyone is going to be quick to jump on the 'this was a dismal failure' bandwagon, but didn't the balloons all get sent out? In most cases, havn't people tracked them down and walked away with early copies of ME3 as promised? The first London launch gps went down, but instead the exact coordinates were given out.
Bit funny really, but those comments just make me laugh. We're a bunch of spoiled brats.

Yeah I've been watching some of the comments on twitter too. I do think the first launch was a bit of a failure but the demands are OTT.

Second marker up on the space site, looks like it launched in Cambridge as well and it's heading so far east it might hit the ocean.
I wonder if the same 40 [well 34] will turn up and 28 walk away with another dish cloth
curious as to why they didnt pander to thier rabid fanbase here and just lottery the copies to those that froth and adore the game ?

I'd imagine this is more to get into the spirit of it, and the thrill of the chase, and meeting other fans.

all i want is a fair chance of tracking it i don't care if i went out succesfully tacking it via their app and didn't get a copy, but this their just well... just look at the site. 'we thin very broad suggestions of landing zone, and no real update.'Greyfox84 wrote...

hmmm dodging serial killers in the deep dark woods for a game, such frivolity
my idea would have been to just add a location to a map and say first 6 to come get the game.
then when they get there they find a mako mock up craft in a field with a couple of cosplay girls in armour..

They have managed to screw up launches at both sides of the Atlantic. Believe me; they will manage to screw up the launch in Germany tomorrow, despite the famous Teutonic efficiency.
Although I understand their position, they have certainly taken the fun out of it
