Fair enough. Personally, you would have had to prise it from my cold dead hands. No way would I have ever sold it. Even after receiving my collectors edition, it would have been put on proud display. ;-))

If there was a Leeds launch, I'd give it a whirl, but going to London is too expensive for the off-chance that I might get my hands on an early copy.

Some people are selling their preorders on ebay already for twice the price.. I must admit I'm tempted. But... I want it. I NEED IT.

Yeah, the collectors edition was selling at a high price last time. I think Mass Effect is the most popular series when it comes to collectors editions. Even Halo and Gears of War don't seem to compare. This is the only series I know where you have to make sure you get in nice and early with the pre-order.

Quick check on ebay and saw several on there for £150 +.. thats crazy. I bet someone would end up paying 500+ just for an early copy of me3.

Not saying this to kiss a**, but it's nice to actually have a laugh with some proper gamers. Might have to get on the multiplayer with some of you guys, so I can be assured of a decent team when it comes to taking back Earth! ;-))

we were lucky enough so snag a copy of Mass Effect 3 from the first balloon, Would have preferred the PC version or a hoodie/bag. Oh well shall be playing through it without my data from 1 and 2.

I feel like I should hate you.  I dunno if it's cause you got the game, or if it's cause it doesn't come across as good enough.

Either way, I either wanna shoot you in the face, or throw all the hoodies and bags you could ever want at you.  Give me a little while to decide.

it's not that I don't appreciate the game (I do and will definitely be enjoying my play through), it's just not the version I'd have picked, I'm sure every Mass Effect fan would agree, you'd like to see the results of your actions from previous games :P.

the way the world economy is looking nobody should be wasting thier money like this.
I`ll bet theres people letting there kids go without to play a game for a few days/weeks.

when i used to do call out tech i had a guy boasting about paying £100 for a CE of a game, and his son was eating crisps and baked beans for his dinner.

Might be worth looking up if there's a way to transfer your savegame? I'm not sure if it's possible with ME... I did it with Skyrim to get my Xbox Save to PC, and to mod my ME Xbox savegames (though for use on xbox only). I never tried transferring ME saves in a usable state from PC to Xbox version so I don't know if that really works or not... sorry if I induced any false hope, just noting it might be worth checking upon :)

Yes it is possible.

You can either use the modified Gibbed save editor

Load up your PC save and save it as an xbox save and transfer it.

Or you can use the online tool by Epic Legion and transfer it.

Can't be done on PS3 though due to encryption.

You do realise that this kid would have been fed crisps and baked beans anyway, right Arnold? If it hadn't been a CE it would have been new jeans or duty free ****s or a night boozing. Good parents don't suddenly turn into **** parents because of a video game. *Calls over to daughters* Girls, can you get your fingers out the power sockets please? If your electrocution causes my 360 to short out, you'll be in trouble ...

Also, I want ME3 now. WHY NO HUDDERSFIELD BALLOON BIO?

Edit: That first *bleep* was for a word meaning cigarettes. Forgot it was a baaaad word.

Me & my sister travelled half way across London on the trains to try and make it to the landing zone ... We got there JUST after they gave away all the prizes, we were gutted! However we were told by one of the bioware guys that we'd be "Sorted out" in terms of prizes ... and took our emails.. NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS.

Well done to everyone who won a prize though, lucky buggers.

Wait, so not only did they give away the prizes they were planning on giving away but those who arrived late might still be able to get something?  And during this time, EA and Bioware have not done anything to try to correct the situation with the cancelled Paris launch?  I PMd some of the mods and I pleaded with them to find a way to give away the prizes they were planning on giving away for the Paris launch to french fans with no response whatsoever.

What are they doing, giving those gifts out to people of the other launches?  No prizes for the french but prizes and then some for the others?  What a load of crap<_<

I have absolutely no idea what's going on with the prizes situation, I'll update everyone IF I get an email from bioware though.

The whole thing has been a shambles!
