Very true, indeed.
I heard some people complaining they got their characters reset a few days ago. Sometimes I wish my characters would be reset as well... on the other hand, I don't want to lose all the weapons and classes I've unlocked.

Demos are generally there to give you a taste, not to work as a test bed. If they instilled in you a desire to experiement, thus a desire to purchase the full game, they did their job.Shepard the Leper wrote...

Yes and No.
Obviously, demos are PR devices first and foremost, but BW have also said that they use the feedback to improve the final product which makes us quasi-beta-testers. But when we cannot test everything they've put into the demo our feedback isn't going to be of high standards.
Personally, I didn't need this demo, I was going to get the game anyway. I just feel it's a missed opportunity to remove the respec option because that tiny addition would have helped BW as much as their fans to prepare optimally for March
