Okay, This is not a rant about random unlocks in its entirety. I don't actually mind the unlock system.

My problem with the veteran packs is that the discription of the pack is "Includes 5 items with at least one being uncommon or better". I was under the assumption that the normal=common silver=uncommon and gold=rare. Why is it that I can't even get an uncommon item in a veteran pack now? I know its probably because I've maxed out all the "uncommon" unlocks and only have the Widow, Revenant, Claymore, Carnifex, Hornet, and Locust to max to X (all of these being Gold cards if I'm not mistaken) But I'm not even getting Gold cards. WTH? I get a gold card in maybe 1 out of 7 packs.

I know I've unlocked everything that I can get in the Demo. All the Weapon mods are at V and all the weapons are at X with the exception of the ones mentioned above. I've unlocked all the characters possible with the exception of the Asari Adept

If the item discription is that you should get one card that is garrenteed uncommon or better shouldn't it be if you cannot get any uncommon items it defaults to rare?

If I'm mistaken about the unlocks quality I apologize. Just wanted clarification that this is how its intended and not just an oversight.

I've had the same problem for the past few days, after 20 or so Veteran. I'm finding better equipment in the Recruit Packs than the Veteran. I hardly find a species that isn't Human.

I read somewhere that blues can be both common and uncommon, silver denoted rare, and gold actually denoted super rare or something like that. I'm not sure though.

If that's not the case, then it's most likely a bug. I know I've gotten mostly character experience cards for about 90% of the Veteran packs I've bought over the last few days. :/

I had the same problem too and it started after I maxed out most weapon/mods.
I suppose, even though I'm not sure, the system change the maxed out weapons/mods with something else.
I my experience they were upgrades for standards characters.

I'm getting a lot of them even though every human standard characters have all their customazation options unlocked and most of them are level 20. So most of such items are de facto wasted.
I'm N7 level 116 and once I got all the not super rare items maxed out I started to get the XP upgrades.

I unlocked the Asari Adept just this morning after countless veteran packs and I still have to find the M-76 Revenant.
Among the super rare items I have the Widow at levelV, Hornet II, Locust I, Claymore II.

Do you know if the other multiplayer weapons can be unlocked in the demo or are they available only in the full game?

Beside any info on the "unfindable" aliens: Turian soldier, Salarian Engineer, Asari Vanguard, Drell Adept, Krogan Sentinel and Quarian Infiltrator?

In all the matches I played I never encountered them, so I believe they are available in the full game only...

The 2nd human gender + 4th column alien races are all locked in the demo, as is 50% of the mods/ammo from packs.

You'll see them all in the full game.

I never get any character unlocks in a veteran pack - just bog standard weapon upgrades. Don't even have any silver or gold tier weapons and I'm n7 in the seventies.

It's not a problem, random system is hard to find what you looking for, nothing more.
