I uploaded a few the day I got it but now I tried again and it says its uploaded but never comes up here. trying to change my avatar pic.

P.S. I have waited long enough too. Tried yesterday and again a few hours ago. Still no no pics for me to change to.

any ideas?

Look at your profile. I believe synch speed is linked to profile views.

Hrm... I have 3 characters in limbo that I have tried to upload. One has uploaded but the avatar is blank. *shrug*

Edit: And this was last weekend or so as well. ;p

Created a new character earlier today and uploaded. took the standard few hours, but it loaded. Patience?

Sort of funny, but this also reminded me about Onyxia in vanilla WoW. I've heard posting and profile views make the characters load quicker... Just like more DOTs on Onyxia will slow down her deep breath attack. ;p

I gave up on it, last one I uploaded took 3 days, and the avatar was jsut a black box.

It has been a week for me... I'm running out of patience! ;p

Typically, if it's been more than 24 hours, I would pull up the charactor creator and reload that character into the creator with the "modify/delete" option. Then just "next" through the pages to make no changes, and try the "upload" again at the end. After another 24hrs... I'd be looking for a tech support e-mail. Waiting a week is more patience than I would have.

People have reported everything from 10 minutes to 24 hours. So don't worry. Some of mine came up in less than an hour, others took easily over 8.

IMHO all the tech issues just before launch... this is not good. It's been a day for me, and no upload.



The admins need to get all these issues squared away before the launch day when we'll be flooded with n00bs who can't find the Ring of Awesome.

After I posted I went in and deleted some of the ones I already had on file.. dont know if this did anything, maybe just a coincidence? but they are there now.
