As others have mentioned, as a European, I'll avoid BSN for a while, as there are bound to be thousands of trolls here posting spoilers in topic titles.

From around first of month I plan on being elsewhere. Due to being UK I won't get it till around 9th here or depending on post slightly later. This forum will probably get spammed thread title version spoilers meaning people ruining it on purpose in the title for thread rather than inside thread itself as always seems to happen just before release and after.

I shall leave BSN until I have finished Mass Effect 3.

Those that remain here will only be able to scream QUIET PLEASE MAKE IT STOP, DO NOT WANT TO BE HERE.

Half the forum will, after two minutes of gameplay, declare the game to be terrible due to lack of dialogue choices.

The other half will point, laugh, and return to their respective games.

There will be a few days of calm, and multiple praises to the game. Then the haters will start to rain down and we'll keep fighting, until a new DLC or a new game comes out, and then we'll do it again.

The BSN cycle cannot be broken.

Forums will rage for ~2 months following release. Then the storm will die down by June or July. There will still be complaints, but not to brutal degrees as you will see after a couple weeks. Eventually, people will accept the game and move on, as if they never hated it. It happened with ME2, and it's destined to happen with ME3.

Studying with a mixture of ME3 CE downloading, then about 7PM I'll play ME3. If my room-mate doesn't take it on me.

On BSN; however; the world will end.

So it IS a good thing I found out about BSN a while after ME2 came out.

I come back to the forums after I finished my first playthrough :D
But yea it's too risky to check the forums on release / after release, too many spoilers for me living in Germany and getting the game 2 days later

I won't be online.

I expect a lot of threads with spoilers in the titles being posted in the no spoilers forum. So I'm going to go offline for a couple days and come back after I've beaten the game.

I can assure you that's precisely what happened with ME2 back in 2010. People were complaining and whining like crazy from January through April-ish. Everything went back to normal by May and the following months. There was only constructive criticism left.

I booked the day off from work - going to my gamestop midnight release, snag my CE, come home, install while jittering wildly in my chair and boot up my canon Shep for an import and let the nerdgasms begin! Probably squeeze in some multiplayer too just to test my luck at unlocks :D

The point? I probably won't even remember to look at BSN for a few days >.>

I'll be out of here too, mainly to avoid spoilers until the 9th.
This place will probably implode with a mixture of negative criticism, praise, and other madness.

Yeah I've got to own up to contributing a fair share of moaning... :?

Guess I have to leave the forums when March begins, since I have to wait till the 9th to get my copy.
I just don’t want to risk seeing any spoilers until I’ve completed the game.

I expect to see all the people who have started threads about how they've cancelled their pre-order over the "From Ashes" DLC starting threads complaining about how their pre-order arrived late and how the "From Ashes" DLC wasn't worth the $10 they paid for it, but that could just be because I've spent to much time watching the SWTOR forums.
