yea i have seen bigger guys that acutally look like trucks. vega just looks like an ordinary guy who lifts weights

What does size have to do with being a tank when tech and Biotic powers are involved?

I think it's just a little off-putting since he's the biggest human character to appear in Mass Effect by far. But it doesn't really bug me.

Well, I question his choice in haircuts, but other than that he's okay.

I am giving him a chance, I am glad to have another human soldier on my team that's not Ashley. Kaidan never felt like one, nothing about him as a character, but he felt more like a normal guy and my Shepard has no room for normal people.

Nah, 'Little Chino' from that episode of Dexter in season 2 was huge. Vega is large.

There are plenty of soldiers just as big, if not bigger, than Vega. It's not that unusual.

I think he looks bad. I can't exactly pinpoint what it is about him, but something about him looks off to me. However, I am absolutely going to give his character a chance. As long as he is interesting, I don't really care how he looks.

A human with a larger body isn't necessary more resistant than a human with a smaller body. It's not like Bioware gave Vega an enourmous quantity of healh and a regenerative ability (at least I hope so).
I don't hate him though, and I don't care that he has a large body.

More muscle = can use heavier weapons.

More muscle = can use strength to help negate the recoil on automatic weapons.
