I think they overdid it a bit. Most soldiers aren't anywhere near that buff nor would it aid them in any way.

Okay honestly people, come on.

People accept the size and strength of Krogan and think it useful in combat.

But when there's a larger, muscular human suddenly it's not realistic, it's not right, it's weird, it's not useful, it's generic.

Him having increased body size and muscle mass equals:

- Better able to withstand physical strikes, like being hit by a Krogan in the face, or being attacked by a Varren.

- Able to wear heavier armour that physically weaker people could not.

- Able to wield heavier weapons effectively that physically weaker people could not.

- Able to use other weapons with greater accuracy due to his strength negating the recoil of said guns.

And the very fact that he is a soldier and not a biotic or a tech, further lends to the need for him to put even more emphasis on keeping himself physically strong to make up for it.

We accept these traits for Krogan, but for a Human it's so wrong?

Shepard has an athletic physique, which is relatively muscular.

I've never even seen Jersey Shore, nor do I think Vega even looks like that guy. The hair looks sort of similar, but so does Kaidan's.

About the armour, Kaidan seems to be able to use an armour as heavy as the one Vega uses, the one he got in the Prothean dlc.
About weapons, I'd wait and see how much his weight system is bigger than Ashley's.
About the physical strikes, I doubt he'll be able to withstand a Krogan charge. The only other race who can withstand them is the Elcors.

The Hammerhead works. So what if it remembers some other vehicle from some other game I've never played. Hovercraft all have similar properties.

the MAKO was awesome, very few tweeks and it would be awesome.

and the hammer head? its not compareable. you use the hammerhead on race courses not open world environments, and you dont even get out.

Yes, how awesome was riding out into that generic gray/red/purple/green/ice environment and stepping out to take a ****** on a pyjack? Not at all.

Please. Mass Effect 1 didn't have any real open world environments.The planets had nothing noteworthy on them, just the same recycled dungeon over and over.
