I think we would all be quite shocked if turned out to be equivalent of Einstein. I think it is fair to assume from appearance and comic that he is more a rather low IQ sort of character. I honestly hope I am proven wrong, I just doubt that will be the case.

I might be assuming alot, but considering the amount of negative responses to Vegas size my guess is alot of these people have never had any kind of serious interest in bodybuilding, powerlifting or weightlifting.

Vega is "yoked".  No doubt about it.

I've bodybuilded/powerlifted seriously, off and on for 19 years.  Vega would represent either a guy with decent genetics on a medium/large amount of roids or a guy with excellent physical genetics.

Looking at his muscular shape and muscle attachment points I would opt for sick ass genetics over roids.  His lat muscles attach low and are thick as fug.  His biceps are full and attach closer to the upper forearm than most peoples do.

There is nothing "unnatural" about his size coming from a trained lifter's perspective.  If I saw this guy in the gym I would be thinking damn that dude has some boss genetics and maybe see if he competed.  What I wouldn't do is go OMG that guy is a freak of nature and must be taking krogan nut juice shots to his ass cheeks 3x a week.

Not everyone is medium or slight build.  Male shepard imho is roughly a medium build male model which makes sense considering he is based off......a male model.  This is hardly what I consider "buff".

The biggest I ever got was a somewhat soft looking 245lbs at 5'8.5" when I was seriously powerlifting and compared to your average desk jockey I was huge, but compared to people with elite level genetics I was nothing so it really is subjective.

If I had to peg Vegas size I would guess he is about 5'10" tall, 225-240lbs with around 7-10% bodyfat.  These are not ridiculous stats.  Impressive yes, but even in just a state level bodybuilding show with these impressive stats you would have a hard time placing top 3.

And considering how far in the future this game is who is to say that supplements haven't reached a significantly higher level of effectiveness.  Perhaps steroids aren't illegal?  Perhaps dna manipulation and shutting off the growth limiting gene is not a big deal?  Who knows.  Honestly I would expect there are people still interested in physical culture that far into the future and would expect high level bodybuilders/strongmen of that time to be frickin ridiculous compared to now.

Just my opinion.

I would be very surprised if he is an intellectual or even as smart as a rodent but only when get the game will know that. He comes across as Jacob without the intellect of which I felt Jacob lacked in first place.

Still I will give him a try see if my assumption is close enough.

As good Dragoonlordz said, I don't hate Vega, simply because I don't know him. Yet, I dislike (not hate) certain elements of his apperance - one could think word "uniform" is there for reason (same gripe concerns Ashley and to greater extent).
And no, I have no complains against his muscles, although I think that muscle size has no effect on muzzle velocity.

His demo presence was so small, so it's hard to make any estimation, but so far he left impression of Kaidan/Jacob alike guy - just normal, ordinary military type, without "lookatme" syndrome in behaviour (and please, spare me of "compensating" jokes).

Not sure on his usefulness in game because so far my knowledge on his and enemies abilities are limited.

6'2" , 250lbs. Typical amateur bodybuilder size. Any one of you can look like that if you train for 4-6 years... just allocate your videogame hours to training. I know, slim chance.

From all I've seen of him, I think I'm going to like Vega, his looks don't really factor into his character. Besides, his hideousness makes him oddly appealing to me, I have no idea why.

Heh, i know my friend, i know. Us gym rats always get the 'roid' comments and I usually stand 6' 3''  235... Although other than the lats he doesn't scream 'great genetics' to me, but then I once saw Ronnie Coleman up close and was unimpressed...
